Ok I've been through Namecoin. I see that there are more improvements needed. But using the word "marketing", frankly speaking, is all the bag holders need to hear since they lost plenty of money.

Why don't you just message domob or one of them? Send them a pm? If you have something specific you want to do then you can mention it here too.
You know, a lot of things do not trequire gang effort. For 'marketing' do you want somebody to give you money to 'market' it? If you have means you can make another Namecoin website with updated info and promote it, or put ads that lead to one of the already existing sites.
Agree that awareness of the importance of free speech and how Namecoin can figure in that is important. But 'marketing' is a harsh term, this isn't a streetwhore like ethereum, it's a coin started in the way cryptocurrency should start.

You don't start a "new" thread for a coin like Namecoin.
You start "another" thread/Namecoin preceded Litecoin, and aside from bitcoin it probably had the most input from 'Satoshi Nakamota' of any coin.
Also, this coin does not need 'marketing' in the sense of 'selling' it, the problem is that people don't know about it so it needs awareness built. If it really is able to build a censorship free internet that anybody can afford, that is enough.
For people who support censorship, unfortunately that includes a lot of people, some discussion has to be made to help them be less dangerous to people who believe in liberty. Some of their arguments are valid, e.g. people will sell drugs, abuse children, hire hitmen etc, but those things happen already and the solution is not to silence anybody.
New developers should add more features to Namecoin's network.

1) IP records don't need to be in the chain, just do registrar function not DNS. And CA problem solved, neat.

However, thinking more about this now I support inclusion of additional coinbases / tracking systems in the main network. The reason for doing this is so as not to water down CPU power into multiple networks. We want one strong network, so the network should be versatile.

I must admit I'm mildly skeptical about short-lived marketing campaigns for altcoins. Most of them fail because they seem to expect "immediate results", or call it "a quick buck".
If Alexoz has an elaborate idea how to attract long-term attention to Namecoin, though, then I'd say welcome to the team.
