Glad yo found your Geists. Don't forget to remove the rescan thingie now that they are found, rescanning tends to hit performance a lot.
I did it exactly the same way, it worked. I'm little ... overexcited right now ( may be from the half litre of coffee, until noon ).

Something else happened, my attempt to send last of my coins finished with crash to the GG client ( 15 minutes ago ). My coins are gone, but they're not in the exchange account yet . Hope they'll come eventually...

Hm.
Check them up with GG blockexplorer.
If they don't show up in blockexplorer, then all you need is to do a -rescan because the blockchain didn't "get" you.

The whole point of SEND tab is to remove the need to type "sendtoaddress"
That's why it says "Please input destination address AND ammount" when you use it.

check "listtransactions" and ensure you have incoming open.

It's the guiminer. Some AV treat all non-whitelisted mining code as virii - many alts have that issue

However, my computer prompts me for a virus on one of the files. It is "Win32/CoinMiner"
Did you put that there? or is it a trojan/virus?

Linux client compiles from Git, windows comes in a portability suite like Geist, download and fire. Link to multi-thread miner for tenebrix is in the first post (and windows binary is included in the suite)
