The word "imprint" should be replaced with "about us".

Imprint is not a correct translation of "Impressum".

will be corrected as soon as webdev awakes from coma. 48 hrs...  Grin

The private key on the paper wallet proves that you paid for the event.

A buyer of your paper wallet could not be sure that there are no other copies of it in circulation, and only the first presented at the gate will be admitted.

Transferring that mB to an other address is however possible, but you would have to do this with special care such that it goes to the other address in full and isolated, not lessened by mining fee and not mixed by other coins into a bigger output, and keeping the order of inputs to outputs. (following the rules of colored coins)

For now, you should consider the ticket non-transferable.

The organizer might decide to offer buying it back however, but that is not a technical question.

Thanks for the clarification!

I hope you ain't mad that I will only buy the ticket when we're into the 27th day of the required btc-average.

not at all.

but if everyone tries to pay as late as possible it will make things complicated for us. this is crowdfunding...

on the other hand, if you pay early and the party does not fly, you will get refunded.

Can I suggest that if late payments create unnecessary complications that you start raising the price after you have reached a comfortable size audience?   this will create incentive to buy in early vs. late.     Being up front about this may help.   In the least you should consider raising the price by 100 mBTCs every day after the threshold is reached.

Somebody might remember that in my conference last May, tickets started at BTC1 and each one was BTC1 more than the previous. 8 tickets were sold. Something similar might work here also.

it would be kind of nice to go in steps of 1 btc...    Wink
we get some questions if 1 btc isn´t in fact expensive for a party. considering what kind of party it will be, it will not be expensive. but it is a sensitive question, we need to be careful.

I think the party will start weeks after the 30 days are over? I didnt lead such a party till now but i wonder what things to organise take more than weeks in advance.

until the trigger is set we don´t have any certain date. no venue, no caterer, no security, no limousine service, no hotel, no main act is available in a short term of time. and snoop dog is not just waiting for a call from us, to tell him "next saturday the party starts". and everyone has to book flights, plan vacation and many other. if you believe me or not, it is already close to a fulltimejob. we sat last night until 6 o clock in the morning to bring the ticket ipo to the start.

everyone feel free to join this party. it will be the first crowdfunded ipo party, the first implementation of colored coins in real life, and multisignature security.

me in person like the point, to meet all the wonderful people in person and have a unforgettable party....

Note that funds collected for the party and their spend is fully audit able through the blockchain:

The address 3NaGPeYAZztGnyUjDrkA4VmvMngRF12cF3 is a 2 out of 3 multi signature address (P2SH) of the vault.
The ticket payments are coming in through addresses of a BIP32 master key that is the genesis of the color.
You see one mB goes to the paper wallet the rest (less mining fee) goes to the vault.

You also see few sub mB in and outflows, they were tests of the functionality.

Do you own due diligence using:

https://blockchain.info/address/3NaGPeYAZztGnyUjDrkA4VmvMngRF12cF3

can one buy the paper wallet from a person he trusts ?

Trust would have to be put not only in the person selling the ticket but also that he did not accidentally leaked it.

If there is a need for the function, I would rather help to create a transfer service available on the event page.

good idea, we will do this  Wink

are tickets transferable/sellable? Say, I'm not sure if I want to go, but I buy a ticket anyway, can I resell it later (perhaps at a loss for me) if I change my mind?

(I guess simply selling the private key doesn't work as I could have kept a copy)

The private key on the paper wallet proves that you paid for the event.

A buyer of your paper wallet could not be sure that there are no other copies of it in circulation, and only the first presented at the gate will be admitted.

(following the rules of colored coins)

No regular wallets are yet in circulation that would be color aware, but there could be before the party starts.

For now, you should consider the ticket non-transferable.

The organizer might decide to offer buying it back however, but that is not a technical question.
