I found an ad with "http//https//" + "site url" and this isn't a valid url and throws an error saying invalid url.
There's no manual review of ads before they're placed? That's BEYOND dangerous.

Thanks RandomQ, I've reviewed a bunch of the ads and cleaned up a couple things.

As to SSL support, we are researching a solution to supporting that but unfortunately it is a bit of a ways off at the moment.

Thanks for looking into it, if you need some sysadmin assistance setting up the whole thing just send me a pm and I would gladly cover the expenses of our expert to have you rolling as soon as possible. You can get a free 1 year certificate on http://cert.startcom.org, or cheap one with basic features on godaddy. Cheers

I just found another error or possible the same error as above.

You might want to put a script to check when placing ads that the url used is a valid format or that the url loads up a page.

I found an ad with "http//https//" + "site url" and this isn't a valid url and throws an error saying invalid url.

I have notified the owner of the ad about the problem.

I have verified the problem with chrome on windows and safari on IOS.

I think i might have found a browser compatibility issue with your ads, they don't work with chrome mobile. they display but don't load when clicked on.

Google chrome mobile version 19.0.1084.60 on IOS5

I reported this to the google chrome mobile dev team I just wanted to point this out since chrome mobile on ios seem to becoming very popular since it was released.

Hi Andrew, we like your ad service and we've been using it for the past month. The thing is we have to deal with allot of complaints from Rugatu's users about our ssl certificate being expired or having other issues, which is not the real problem but serving insecure content at the same time with the secured one.

The only thing we serve insecurely is your service ads, so if I may ask, do you have plans on serving them over https (ssl)?

Change partner

EDIT:
Probably the same happened with all this partner accounts:

This site had the most potential of all advertising sites. But I have not been paid out in a long time. I do not believe it's a scam but I do believe there is some type of problem with the system. I am removing the ads from my site.

Seriously considered forming a partnership but-:
After reading about the many issues with your scheme, i have decided not to get involved.

So, I got the ad upload to work and made payment ... however, the ad does not appear to be running and nobody is reponding to the support ticket trying to verify that the upload worked.

I'm beginning to think that the links on here relating to Bitcoinadvertisers being a scam may be true, which would be very unfortunate.

If Andrew or anyone else from the company would respond it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, please return the 3 BTC payment.

Thanks,

Sierra

Andrew:

I'm having trouble getting an image ad started. I have confirmed the size is correct (461 x 60).  When I click to the next step it just opens a page and says ERROR.

Andrew, great service. One thing that bothers me is that there are folks that generate phony clicks. Got a click from bitcoindebit-dot-net, and decided to look - what the site is like. Here's what I saw. Obviously, nobody human visits this site. There's nothing in it. It just displays ads and someone clicks on them. Clearly scam.

UPDATE: the domain owner contacted me and apparently there is some actual traffic on the web site. Not clear who actually visits it, since there is no content, but oh well. It would be helpful if there could be some way to identify the sites with actual (potentially) interested visitor

lots of placeholder/unused domains have nothing more than advertisements, yet still get a lot of human traffic.

it's called 'parking'.

I got payed too.

unrelated:

on the partnerstat page, in the payment log, the displayed mBTC amount is wrong by 10x,  (1mBTC = 0.001 BTC)

http://www.bitcoinadvertisers.com/partnerstat.php?p=

also the number of payouts doesn't correspond with reality

Am I really the only one who is getting paid regularly at the moment?

Andrew really needs to stop treating publishers like dirt and start acting professionally. It's as if he's randomly allowing certain people to be paid while outright ignoring other people.
