Thanks! Can you tell me how large is the blockchain as size in Mb? And how do I mine with the wallet? With my cpu? Automatic? Or account on a pool etc..?
Thank you again for the feed-back.

Blockchain is currently under 100MB.

To mine with the wallet, you simply select the mining tab, move the slider around to how much of your CPU you want to dedicate to hashing, and hit Start Mining... Doesn't get any simpler than that.

To mine with a pool (recommended, unless you are a big hasher), check instructions here:

Happy Mining!

we don't need another wallet..
we need the payment system that you promised lot of months ago!

We're creating the products in this order intentionally. ZiftrPAY platform will be most useful when there are users who have ziftrCOINs ready to spend in a convenient wallet. The wallet is multi-coin and doesn't need ziftrPAY itself to function, so it makes sense to put out the wallet before ziftrPAY.

This coin should have more volume considering the shit coins making loads of volumes at exchanges..Not sure when it can happen..

I think low volume is an indication that coin holders are waiting to use their ziftrCOINs with a ziftrPAY merchant, rather than mining coins just to sell.

Takes time to create an ecosystem like the one Ziftr is trying to build...there are a lot of moving pieces here that have nothing to do with the coin. Anyone who bought into Ziftrcoin thinking it was going to be a quick profit wasn't looking at the big picture. This one is a long game.

ziftr coin should be doing a lot better than this considering they have there own algo , giving another week of this coin and moving on ,I assumed to much for this one    , positron has a bigger chance of survival due to the innovative dev team   and they used a common sha256 alg one of the oldest and most common so my advice is ,do what you set out to do and people will invest

Today, our new multicoin wallet, ziftrWALLET open beta for Android begins. Anyone with an Android device can now download and test the wallet using multiple cryptocurrencies.

Some highlights of our wallet include:

  • Holds Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and ziftrCOINs all in one application
  • Securely stores sensitive data locally on your mobile device meaning no sensitive data ever touches the network.
  • Works with the Ziftr server so users do not have to constantly connect to peers or download and parse large blockchain data
  • Conveniently displays coin prices and users total wallet balance across coins.

You can download the wallet here.

Announcement thread can be found here.

The vast majority of the volume seems like it's on Cryptsy, and even that is fairly thin. Like ZWGuy said, people are holding and not a lot of mining proceeds are available to buy. You'll affect the price a lot when you buy even $100 worth.

i don't understand how to use Ziftrpay on the Mountain website

It's been announced, but it's not fully integrated yet. I believe the timeline is "summer 2015", which I realize isn't very specific.

When it does go live, I expect it will be part of their checkout experience. Paying with crypto will just be an option when choosing how you pay.

why is this coin going to be delisted on bittrex?

I wasn't aware that it was, but I'll look into it. My guess is that it's an issue with low trade volume. There are a lot of people holding the coins and, due to our rather unique distribution curve, not very many coins are mined each day.

Last updated in February 2005! if not dead we lack a little! Could enable the POS to increase 'interest!

It's not dead at all. We've been keeping our heads down and focusing on development.

Last update to the coin itself was April 10. We've also been hard at work on other projects around ZiftrCoin. You can see some of our work on the public repos at the ZiftrCoin github https://github.com/ziftrcoin. There's also tons of work being done in private repos that can't be seen.

We announced our first big (50 million in annual sales) merchant recently.
http://blog.ziftr.com/2015/04/27/apparel-manufacturing-company-the-mountain-creator-of-the-iconic-three-wolf-moon-shirt-to-accept-cryptocurrency-via-ziftrpay/

Our mobile wallet has entered public open beta. We haven't even officially announced this yet, but since it's publicly available in the play store I suppose I can mention it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ziftr.android.ziftrwallet

In the next week or so we're also planning on having some smaller merchants actually up and running with ZiftrPay. I don't know which merchants it will be, so it might not be anything super exciting, but it will be great to see some places where ZiftrCoins can be used. This will let us get some feedback on the process and let users see the first pieces of the payment platform we're rolling out.
