@ PHCoin: I totally agree with you. My request for an update was absolutely not meant to be used as indicator whether I might soon be able to dump my coins or not. I do think that a more regular exchange of information will definetely contribute to keep the people here on board and to grow the community. The work alone you guys put in so far strengthens my beliefe that you are serious about this. Nevertheless, you can easily keep the fire burning by throwing small pieces of wood at it now. Just some info here and there, even a small talk can help. You should not forget that someone who checks out this thread realizing the last post is 5 days old is probably not very convinced that this thing is running hot. I assume you agree?
The strategy you guys picked so far is good, but a wider community mining this woud also help the distribution of the coins. And this is where my main concern right now comes into play: I am really surprised that considering the work and the outline you came up with so far did not attract more people. If you look at the hashrate, that is ridiculous. Very hard to understand for me.... The premine might be a massive counterfactor to the attraction of new people. This is probably something we need to more actively and openly discuss in order to convince those people that are afraid of a heavy dump once this coin has gained a considerable traction.

Mike will make an Ann soon. I think you all realized we are not focused on marketing to the digital currency first.

Our coin launch was to  begin introducing to both the existing people in the industry and new comers to this industry.

PHCoin has a large commitment and our focus is growing the organization and building more resources. In addition, we are growing rapidly on social media. The team is now 50 strong. Meaning we might be the first altcoin with a team at this size.

Our approach is different than your traditional altcoin which is focused solely on turning the wheels for an exchange at a quick pump and dump. PHCoin n isn't that type of coin. Those holding will see a nice roi because you will be able to actually use PHCoin outside of traditional trading methods.

The community seems small since not a lot of activity but people know what this is about and those early adopters, everyone in this thread, will reap some benefits once PHCoin fully makes its press and media push.

Anyone want to become a communiy manager on bitcointalk ? We will pay a salary for helping Mike out on bitcointalk.

Mike would you mind giving a short update? I am wondering why the community or the attention paid to this seems pretty small. Are you planning to actively approach Phillippines media channels or sth?

I don't really want to sell badly. I am holding only a very small amount of coins. So holding for months is fine with me. Been holding coins for quite sometime. Just want to make sure that this coin didn't die before it hit decent exchange. I have 5,000 PHC. Maybe u can PM me ur offer. If reasonable we can make a deal.

We have halted exchanges for now. It is not that no one is accepting, we are not pushing any exchanges yet. CryptoAltex came in, and they no longer could continue due to some problems internally; and we did not offer to help cryptoaltex because of their new status in the community.  I understand you want to convert your PHC asap, just hold for now until PHCoin Organization is ready to send out the official press to the public and exchanges will follow once that happens.

If you want to help so much, cast your votes on cryptsy or talk to bittrex if you want to.. or wait for us to finalize some things so the team makes the official announcements

Plus we are highly considering ripple gateway which will allow PHC to BTC, Gold, Silver, or virtually any currency to be traded/exchanged. 

why not lets talk about having decent exchange ? It's weird that no exchange want to accept PHC. Even those shitcoin get accepted in bittrex within a day or 2 after launch. Maybe because of PHC high premine ?

You know, PHC is like rejected coin that no decent exchange want to list it.
