And staking is automatic; forgot to say.
When you have coins in your wallet it takes a bit more than 9 days to get your first stake. You need to launch the wallet for staking at least from time to time; it ensures you get the full staking interest and you help securing the network..

Is there a prediction to launch a 64 bit linux binary? I'm trying until now to compile the source code in my Linux Mint. I never got an app working through compilation.

Ok. By the way, how does POS work? Do I need to contact someone to notice that I'm actually owning coins, or is syncing the network and holding any amount of coins enough to receive coins from staking them?
