It was obvious to see this price of over 0.001 BTC as there was unbelievable support and stability at 60k to 70k satoshi for good number of days. What is the reason for recent spike in the market at this sudden as I was not touch with the updates or news. It will be helpful to know the latest.

When i chose an external hoster for a PIVX masternode, are there any security risks?
I have to give him a rpc user and password, and the keys for my address, where the 10.000 pivx are stored.
So is there any risk? i had difficulites setting up my own masternode, so i am thinking about choseing an external masternode hoster ....

Yeah he will grab ur password and withdraw pivx tokens. If someone gave me a password from a bank vault I would use it to my advantage. Wouldnt u do the same? Though ur 10K pivx have a value of a cap of coffee so it may be relatively safe to give third party ur password. Bear in mind pivx is gonna dump dramatically so u better sell these 10k while there is still a little support.

I'm also concerened about this, that why I have setup my own masternode. If you follow the manual it's quite easy.

What we need to start masternode ? vps or dedicate server? os ? ram ? space ? bandwidth ?

Remember you need to keep your wallet open 24/7 in order to stake... rewards are not as consistent.

or forks from the multiple wallet updates we had awhile back, I lost enough for 3 masternodes on that deal. So make back ups of your back ups on an external HD, just in case because losing most of your stash sucks.
Did you try the wallet.dat file on a clean chain download and in the config file
reservebalance=999999
Also all references to masternode off.
Then resync by starting the daemon.

what is Pivx doing? whys it pumping? i thought it will pump again when it listed on Polo . I sold some Pivx at 77k sat about 2 days ago, i said i'll buy it back when it dumped again but...MY BAD

Random question:
With the release of the new wallet, has it interfered with the old wallet version's staking process? I have enough to stake regularly (usually 3-5 blocks a day) and haven't gotten any today.
Obviously not out of the question to not have one yet today, just wanted to ask considering the timing.

Seems like there is a lot more PIVx also in active stacking now. I have the last version and seems that reward has fallen from 1 per day per 10k PIVx to aprox 1 per 2.5 days per 10k PIVx. This fact plus the quite stable 2100 MN's (21M PIVx) maybe can explain some of the price increase this last days. Now there is not too much PIVx to be trade out there.

im happy for you guys seriously, but im not updating my wallet or a long time. losing what little i have left isn't an option. yeah im bitter, i lost almost 30k. if that bothers people sorry in advance.
