We can definitely setup a direct port for AsiaCoin by the time the 1000 blocks of low rewards end. I'll put a post here when it is up, with the port number. We may end up mining it on the multiport, but WhiteCoin is still insanely profitable so that may be a hard sell at the moment

asiacoin starts in 2 hrs...but first 1000 blocks (blocktime: 60sec) only 100 instead of 10000 reward.

@ipominer  I believe that if you are considering doing something like this maybe you should charge a monthly fee for VIP access.  Or maybe have your donation set to 5% for 30 days..

Perhaps at least a warning that Ipominer's Pool will stop pointing to a particular coin at x date & time (for a Trading heads-up) or something to that extent!

It will shoot down again shortly I believe (so sell now if you want quick profit!) but overall it will continue to rise until the mining stops (6 days?) and then the price may go insane...but who knows.

Any thoughts on selling White Coin? Hold or sell ASAP? What price would you expect?

RE: Stratum dead/alive messages -- it may be that the stratum server process was overloaded with the all-time high hashrate we're seeing today. I added a second stratum process this evening for the multiport and load balanced them, so if that is the issue then we should see an improvement now. Other stratum processes, including the direct WC port, appeared not to be effected today, so that seems like a likely explanation. Please let me know if you continue to see any trouble.

@lajz99 Perhaps, we'll see how the launch looks and make a determination at that point. We don't typically mine coins immediately at launch unless they look just right.. not *too* popular that difficulty skyrockets immediately, but obviously popular enough to interest us in mining it

@devthedev WC is on Bittrex and Poloniex. Our exchange price comes from a weighted average of the last trade from both of two exchanges currently.

@Forcecast Predicting the exact optimal timing of when to hold or sell isn't easy, unfortunately.

Will you be switching over to Asia Coin tomorrow when it is launched?

Yes is what i am getting also, good to know its not just me.

I also catched my miners several times with the typical message: "lost x shares due to stratum disconnect". I didn´t notice that before...
