Hey,

been mining btg for the past 2 hours but unconfirmed balance still 0, is this normal?

I wonder if the auto switch for the baikal giant x10 works correctly? It seems that it switches often to digibyte-Skein not considering, that the hashrate for Skein algorithm is only 5 GH/s instead of 10 GH/s.

Could you please check this?

Hashrate doesn't matter. It switches according to profitability!

Well, the profitability is given in BTC/GH/day, right? If i have a device that can do for algo A 10 GH/s and for algo B it can 5 GH/s. Now lets say the profitability for algo A is 0.5 BTC/GH/day, that means my device makes 10*0.5 = 5 BTC per day. If the profitability for algo B is now 0.75 BTC/GH/day (so profitability is higher then for algo A) my device will only make 5*0.75 = 3.75 BTC per day, because of the lower hashrate. So even when the profitability for algo B is higher, my device should mine algo A. And if you have an extra setting for that specific device, it should consider that different hashrates of the device. Otherwise the Autoswitch for the Baikal Gianr X10 would be useless, as it would often mine for Skein, although it would be better mining myriad-groestl or qubit.

Or is there a mistake anywhere in my thoughts?

MiningPoolHub keeps the hashrate comparisons up-to-date manually.

Thats what i thought. But it seems, there is an mistake in the settings for the Giant X10, because it is often switching to Skein, when it has the highest BTC/GH/day profit, although it would be better, to mine myriad-groestl or Qubit, because of the higher hashrate for these algorithms.

Your doing just fine. Keep up the good work. And if you have some sore time add us some more coins. I'd rather stay here and mine all the coins I mine right now. Maybe some more cryptonight coins would be nice. Or add dual mine coins from claymore so we can mine them here would be nice. No pressure though. I know you are already overloaded as it is. 😀

How does the pool calculate the current profit per coin?
How often does it change?
Why does it fluctuate so much, even if the coin's price is relatively stable?
price is just one thing, difficulty matters too!
so basically everytime difficulty:price ratio changes a coin is more/less profitable than another..
i think it does change in realtime but how often does the miner adjusts? i dont know but im sure mister MPH will give you an answer  Wink
Unfortunately, it is not updated in real-time as it is cached by cloudflare, so the data can be upto 30 minutes old. I am not sure what you mean by how often the miner adjusts. On the 17xxx ports (multicoin, same algo auto-switching ports), pool tends to mine until a block is found so you don't waste time and electricity by switching too early and missing the block. So it tries to recalculate and switch after finding a block.

Hi thank you for your long explanation but you did not answer a simple question.
What does the bracketed value mean under the Credit for Auto exchange mean?
( as opposed to the one under the SAME column that is not in brackets? )

unconfirmed

Immature coins. Every cc has one. When a block is found, newly created coins have a maturation period (wallets call them "unconfirmed") which means they cannot be moved (spent) until a certain number of blocks have passed. This number varies coin by coin. For example, Sia takes around 24 hours to allow newly created coins to be spent which is one of the longest (or slowest if you will).

The reason for such feature is to allow time for the network to evaluate blocks to discover orphaned ones thus preventing double spends.

@MPH great work on pools.
I'm sure you already know, but since its a new pool and all wanted to bring to your attention the btg stats (such as difficulty, estimated shares etc...) need some loving,
and on the pool stats page this error is displayed "Unable to connect to RPC service: RPC call did not return 200: HTTP error: 0 - JSON Response: []"

just a heads up great work!

Hey guys I'm using auto exchange for the first time. I sent a bit of dash over to be switched to btc but on my balances page it doesn't even show it to be on the exchange...Just looks like it disappeared, is this normal?

Check Balances page. You will see coin distribution status.
https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=account&action=balances

Thanks for adding zencash was waiting for it long time ...

Now Its time to add hush(zdash) Wink

Yeah adding coins one by one.

Yesterday I made registration on zcoin pool but can't login, didn't receive verification email or something like that, is there anybody who can help me?

Contact your situation to [email protected]
Yeah, I'm this pool's op. I can help you.

Tell me what email you registered and what username you inserted.

Hello,

I am new to mining pool hub and lately was trying to trace out transactions in different statuses, though it was not obvious to me what different status means and how do transactions travel from one to another.

On balance sheet I have

Coin   - Feathercoin
Credited  - 0
Credited for AutoExchange   - 0.12132133 (1.74801426)
On Exchange - 0.02228970

On Exchange I understand my share being exchanged now.

Credited for AutoExchange, I don't get two values, what does mean the one in brackets?

And just "Credited"?

How Can I understand what amount was already exchanged and contributed to BTC(as auto exchange currency) , and what amount is approaching for exchange. And what is total Earned on Feathercoin for all time.

All newly mined coins go into "Credited" or "Credited for Auto Exchange"

if you have set auto exchange coin and your selected coin is exchangeable from current mining coin, then coin will go into "Credited for Auto Exchange". Others will go into Credited.

Here's simple coin exchange process.
e.g.)
eth -> btc.
ETH - Credited for Auto Exchange (unconfirmed) -> ETH - Credited for Auto Exchange (confirmed) -> ETH - On Exchange -> BTC - Credited

You can see mined amount from Feathercoin's dashboard.

And copy to problem mentioned above, my latest ccminers by djm34 shows 13,64Mh/S, however dashboard on MPH only 8Mh/s..

Again shows the wrong hash.
Why such a mistake?
Because of this, and less coins when mining is obtained.
Yesterday was normal, but the day before yesterday, too, such a mistake, a heshret on the pool more than a coin all day was.

It's not mistake thing from pool.
sgminer doesn't have such problem. Only ccminer nvidia users are experiencing this issue.

Also check Graphs page than dashboard if you want to check hashrate.
Graphs page takes one hour to calculate your average hashrate and dashboard takes only few minutes.
Graphs page is slower to show your actual hashrate but shows accurate hashrate than dashboard.

All the same, no one knows the mind at the pool hash is higher than the network.

Pool Hash Rate   106,682.481 MH/s
Current Difficulty   13247.528593108
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network)   9 minutes 10 seconds
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool)   8 minutes 53 seconds
Est. Shares this Round   211960 (done: 76.63%)
Next Network Block   62265    (Current: 62264)
Last Block Found   62263
Time Since Last Block   7 minutes 25 seconds

It's just estimation, so it's not reliable.
Actually pool often founds more block than daily expected blocks.

Pool found 157 blocks, 144 blocks were expected for 24 hours.

Just to show it does not go unnoticed from myself, some appreciation is due for the recent, much and long needed additions:

Thank you, MPH, for opening ZEN and BTG pools! Great work, indeed!

You're welcome!

Thank you for feedback and suggestions  Grin

Nice to see BTG pool... but I have been mining on it on auto-switch (for however long auto switch kicked in)  and I have not gotten a single payout from it yet?  I am running 10 x GTX 1060 6gb cards.. so should be getting SOMETHING... anyone else having problems?  Or is it only paid out once a block is found?

Thanks!

Pool hashrate is not that big. That's why it needs some time to find a block.
Pool found few blocks now so I believe you've got some. It will get better when hashrate increases.

Linux FOREVER! Resistance is futile!!!
Now you can set starting difficulty value by typing like "d=0.01" at worker's password.

This would help big hash miners to catch up to its own hardware limit faster than ever.

1. Run your miner program and check your difficulty value.
Keep in mind that difficulty value must be stabilized.
We recommend you to get difficulty value at least after 10 minutes of mining.

2. Set this difficulty value to worker's password as "d=XXXX"
   ex) d=0.0312
Do not write this value to miningpoolhub's worker page, just write it at miner configuration file.

3. Now run your miner program again.
You will see your miner running at the difficulty value you typed.

4. Difficulty value can go up and down again. It's not a bug.
d=XXX just gives us hint at start and it doesn't enforce diff value to be fixed.

Far wrong diff value may corrected automatically, but you'd better write optimized value.

Big hash miners who are using rentals, multi-algo, ASIC would get better result with difficulty hint.

How do I set difficulty for these valuse from ewbf miner ?
