Hi guys, I am fairly new to mining, started recently with this hub and one thing is not clear to me. When I look at my dashboard I quite often see Est. Shares going above 100%. I don't understand this. I would expect that it would go to 100% and once the block is mined, it would reset and start over again. For example now I see 208%, what does this tell me?

There is a luck factor with any block discovered.  Some blocks take far more hashing power to fully confirm and therefore have "bad" luck and requires more shares to complete.  Others are quick and therefore have good "luck".  No one can predict how much hashing power is going to be required until after the block has been completed.  Since the block only pays out a specific number of coins blocks that require more hashing power are considered unlucky.  Over the long term it averages out to make the 100%.

I'm getting a "cannot bind to parameter" error, after running MultiPoolMiner, and am getting 0.00MH/s. Am I supposed to go in and manually edit each miner's settings? I'm trying to set up multi-algo switch mining for my 1060 and 1070s.

Hello,

Could you please check ID 64293? I have a few coins on the Auto exchange (very low figures) for a couple of days and still nothing Sad
Also, the last withdrawal of EXP still hasn`t showed up in the destination wallet (it`s an exchange wallet).

Thank you!

Oh I'll check and flush some auto exchange pending coins due to low volume.

Hi
Zcash Zclassic  Auto Exchange not work?

It's known issue now. I'm investigating the problem.

I think your exchange server is down.... please check.

Jaerin thanks for explanation. Now another question, do you have any tip wich sites can i use to compare wich is the best coin to mining compared to ethereum (profitability others vs ethereum) ? Cuz i need to see wich coins are better "that specific ones" example (Expanse(EXP) Ethash) AND compare to highest mining speeds(with same card as mine rx480 sapphire)

if you use multipool miner the miner chose automatically the best one

if you still need something you can take a look at http://whattomine.com/

Hi i have a question

https://i.imgur.com/Xmep0S8.png

what means "MultiPoolMiner is 24% more profitable" Huh Is there any button or way to "switch" to "MultiPoolMiner"?

Could someone explain it to me  Grin

I'm working on improving the comparison figure at the bottom; it's too simple and requires more detail.

But how do I choose this option that gives me 24% more? Its already givin' me this rate? Is there any config i need to do?

It's showing you the stat for MultiPoolMiner vs the one miner.

Delete the 'profit' stat in the 'stats' folder to reset.

But am i already using the maximum possible from the pool/multipoolminer? Let me ask if can i tweak some functions from other miners like sgminer and cgminer to get better mh's, kh/s or h/s and the program will recognize that modifications? edit: OR i must to do this modifications before "benchmarking"?

You're always going to get whatever the miner is tuned too.  The benchmarks are a snapshot of what you got when you benchmarked that particular miner, but is not a guarantee of the work you will get the next time.  Generally speaking most miners get a fairly good average hashrate locally, but that is just how many hashes are being checked and not the actual amount accepted by the pool.  This is why you can see very different results on the pool worker outputs vs what you see locally.  There isn't a lot of tweaking you can do locally to your miner other than to try a different build or driver.  What the Multipoolminer is XX% better is basically saying that because it has switched algorithms it may have had better potential profits than if you had mined with that one algorithm continuously.  This isn't necessarily true either because a single miner continuously can have varying exchange rates as well throughout the day.  This also doesn't take into account that the coins don't always automatically get sold at an exchange right when you mined the coins.  So the value when you mined it doesn't necessarily reflect the price it was sold at.  The rate that it is showing you is a rough guide of how much multipoolminer thinks you should have earned if the coins were sold at the value the pool is reporting.  Some coins take multiple days even to mature to the point that they could be sold so the price is very difficult to actually predict.  This is also why on pools like zpool and MPH you may not immediately see the returns you expect unless you run it for a week or more and look at the average of what you earned over that time.

Unless you are mining the coins into your own wallets and taking them to the exchanges yourself can you really accurately measure how much you are making in the very short term.  Multi-algo does generally allow you to get a decent average return regardless of how a particular coin performs.

Has the auto exchange feature been disabled? It's been more than 24 hours since the last auto exchange was made from DGB, SIA and more to ETH.

The amount of coins credited to the auto exchange keep increasing but it never ends up in my ETH balance.

Hey, just started mining on this pool and so far so good. But I have some questions

I'm currently mining eth + sia on a single gtx1080 with claymore dual-miner.
Usually I have 1 eth share every 5-10 minutes because the difficulty is too high (>4096). Setting password to "d=1", "d=1024", "d=0.001" or whatever doesn't seem to do any change. I would like to reduce the difficulty to have 2 or 3 shares per minute so that the dashboard is more accurate. Is that possible on etherum?

Also, using the autoexchange feature and auto payment for a remote btc wallet, is there any withdrawal fee + 0.2% autoexchange fee or is it only the extra 0.2%?
I have 5 rx580 on my way and I'll be mining on this pool, but I'm trying to optimize my profit. Do you recommend using autoexchange and withdraw to a bitstamp account to cash out directly or mine individual coins to bittrex (for example) and then buy BTC and withdraw them to bitstamp?

Thank you  Wink

I am minning 24+ hours on minningpoolhub with MyriadGroestl 60MH/s - 0.002btc-day(klaust-ccminer) and mined 12 myriadcoins (as seen in my balances), is equivalent to $0.04, but should be 0.002btc,  in MYR coins,
what going on??? Maybe my worker mining for another account? Any advice ?
Thank You

When mining DGB - Skein.....is there any advantage to setting difficulty directly in miner?

Difficulty only will limit the amount of bandwidth and server load as a result of your mining.  Usually what I do is use vardiff for an hour or two and then whatever the difficulty that it settles at is the fixed diff that I use.  You're looking to set it where you'll be sending roughly 10-15 shares per minute usually.

This difficulty will not affect your hashrate.
