For those with problems with disconnects. It generally only disconnects breifly on coin change, part of the stratum implementation here for multiple coins to be mined. If  you use cgminer version 3.5.0 or earlier the switch back to mining happens much quicker. I have been mining here for quite a while and this issue keeps coming up, both in the forums and the IRC channel, but almost always comes back to version of cgminer.

im using 3.7.2. yes the 5 min is default for failover. which is fine i guess. however im not sure why it kept disconnecting. i saw it at least 10 times on my backup pool during the day.and everytime it was for only 5 minutes, which means your pool was not down for long. but for some reason i seem to lose connection every once in a while. and no its not my internet.

Odd, both are using which version of cgminer? The newer versions have a 5 minute switch back from failover. Though if you are using the older versions, please try to keep track when these disconnects happen. We did restart stratum about 2 hours ago (was down for 30 seconds or so) but idk if that is what caused the issue or not.

Ever since these latest troubles, I also have been having disconnects and long times of "pool slow down/invalid credentials" on most my miners. I now have 2 miners on the same network, one of them is connected to hashcows, the other is on fallback pool.

ok about the payout. what about the fact that the pool gets disconnected every couple of mins

Hmm? I'm having no such issue's, What's the problem?

And we have addressed that a second stratum is coming soon to reduce downtime Smiley

It seems the bitcoin exchange isn't working either... It says I have 0.02 not traded..

I'm hanging in there though. Hopefully it won't be much longer till everything's back to normal.

Yes, I have a much larger amount of unexchanged (0.068) vs. exchanged (0.017). Both of these numbers have been increasing over time, but I'm wondering if they are accurate or not. My BTC payout yesterday was pretty low, and if I'm only going to get 0.017  (or a tiny bit more) tonight, that's pretty low as well. Not complaining (yet), just a little confused as whether the exchanged/unexchanged are actually broken...

I´ve got a picture! Haha!
IMPORTANT NEWS:

Round Estimates and Exchanged/Unexchangd balances are currently broken. This has no affect on earnings or on your btc payout. Everyone is receiving the credit for the coins they should be. However don't be alarmed if you see 0's for 'My Est. Earnings' in the stats table, or if your Exchanged/Unexchanged balances don't change. You will all get the btc you've earned regardless of these numbers, at the usual payout time. We are working on a solution and it will be fixed soon.

Figured I would re-post this as I've gotten numerous PM's about the estimates. The Payout will NOT be affected from this. We continue to better the way things are on the site for a more friendly user experience, of course these things take time so just be patient with us as we do just that!

Sweet, I think that most of us was confused by nearmiss post, stating that everything is OK

hey guys,  the earlier issues with the 0 coins found on a few rounds has been fixed up.  Was just a display issue on the site.

Frustrating.....

Anymore news on when this will be corrected.   Seeing all zeros is scarry as you don't really know if you are being properly credited.  Don't want to switch pools if it is just a short amount of time longer.

Also the second stratum is in the works as we speak. I don't want to promise a ETA but I can tell you pretty soon.

Same issue here, the whole page shows estimated earnings as 0 for my worker, but I've been mining the whole time.

Is anyone else having trouble with a high kh machine losing stratum and failing off of hashcows?  All of my slower machines do not do this.  I am running cgminer 3.3.1 on all of them.

I got some trouble with my "low kh machine" Wink There seem to be some stratum issues, can anyone confirm?
If it even connects, the hashrate is only about a quarter of the normal rate here...

All my workers are low kh but yes I did notice a pretty good drop but things seem to be recovering now.

I'm back at about half my hashrate for now... Seems the admin is working on it Wink
