Oh I forgot to mention, that my rig has been pointed to HC months already. It's just this week's a bad one I guess.

What! This week's a bad one? This week has been great & yesterday bad. Poolpicker.eu for example has Hashco.ws as the most profitable pool for the last week (even with yesterday registering 0 at the time of writing this) at 0.01138571 BTC / MH/s / day.

Mining there since March 1st with 3.6 Mh and one payout of .03.   Nothing else even showing in my account, and payouts have tanked.  At this point I don't expect to ever see those missing coins.  Whether this is actually a scam pool or not, its lack of transparency has the same effect as if it were one.

Had 2Mh/s and got .005 for 24 hours of work. Now what is that?

Payout last night was just terrible and now coins are switching every 3-4 minutes causing massive disconnects.

~5.6Mh/s pointed at HashCows:

Day 1 - 0.02BTC
Day 2 - 0.04BTC
Day 3 - 0.02BTC

Total for 3 days of solid mining - 0.08BTC and a change...

Surely this cannot be right?

What the hell is going on?

What massive disconnects?  And yes, payout was terrible last night, as it was for the other 'big 3' (or at least as per their numbers @ http://poolpicker.eu ).  We are constantly working to improve profits, at the expense of other features that were in the pipeline in the short term.  If you were mining here 10 days ago, you saw amazing profits, if you just joined within the last few days, not so much.  It comes and goes, and right now, the markets are total garbage.

You will see those coins, just give it some more time, keep checking your account once a day and you'll see. Just go read previous posts and you'll see lots of other miners stating the same (me included) and a few days later report that they received their coins, in full.

I do agree that the pool lack of stats is a major issue, but from there to hashcows being a scam is an overstep.

cgminer's --rotate takes the parameters in minutes, so i guess the minimum is one minute/60 seconds
you might get lucky with
Code:
--scan-time 30

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5429090  so im not sure that this "scan-time" change anything here Sad

can you post the command or part in the configuration file that controls this switching?  right now my Kalroth is switching after 60 seconds, it would be nice to decrease it.  thanks

more here : cgminer --help

Code:
cudaminer and minerd:
-R 5
will retry the connection every 5 seconds instead of the default 30

Code:
sgminer:
--failover-switch-delay 5
 will do the same

Please see the latest news for an important update; https://hashco.ws/news/

tl;dr   We are doing a pool-wide btc auto-payment for anyone with a balance > 0.05 btc on March 24 & 25th.  Make sure your btc addy is up to date by then!

Um, yeah, what they said. Just mined with 12MH for 3-4 hours and the stats were saying my total payout was about .0008btc. I don't know if this has something to do with the way the stats are displayed, but that's at least an order of magnitude below where I should be on even a really bad day mining scrypt coins.

Back to coin hopping I go.   Nice website though.

It can take days after a round is ended for the coin to mature and be traded. So you have to be patient. I suspect that it won't always be like this but for now it is what it is.

aTriz, we get this and some of us are also trying to explain the situation however you have to at least put up an extra stat ASAP which is the total some of the Confirmed Exchanged Balance. Currently it only shows current round only and people think that's all they got after hours or days of mining.

I would agree. I believe an extra row on the stats page that has the same output but over the last 24-48 hours would be great.

On another note, I personally have mined here since before the hack with the Kalroth CGminer fork and have no problems during the coin switches. I set the failover delay for 20 seconds and have verified many times by watching cgminer and through different stats that during the coin switches it only spend 20 seconds at my altpool.
For reference, I average 0.0136 BTC/(MH/s)/Day since 2014/01/12 and 0.010 BTC/(MH/s)/Day this past month, which has been low everywhere. I also keep tabs on places like clevermining and their stats trend with hashcow even though they have almost 4 times as many users. Some days hashcow is higher and some days they are.

Just my two cents,
Goobers

so why is hashcows so slow to do it ? when others arent even coinsolver a smaller pool converts the coins the same day.

It's the coin, not hashcows. I was thinking the same about a week ago when I tried hashcows out, and a few days after I started getting payments for the days before when I mined. So don't worry, you'll get what you mined.
