It is a pity that this happened, the project was quite interesting at the start. It will be wonderful if there is a volunteer who can raise this coin and make it live and valuable.

Such a great news ever!! Good luck to the team!
I would like to join the team as remote developer. I am frontend/nodejs web developer with 6 years of experiences.

Thanks Smiley

I don't think there is a team - it seems the dev dumped and ran - but if you read through the last few pages of the ANN, some members would like to take it over and turn it into a community coin, so maybe you should contact them.

How is TokyoCoin doing now? If it is good, then it is good. If not, then let's not FUD it. Give it chance to grow. It is still young. With bitcoin on the rise, I hope it has minimal impact to TOKC. I want to see good future of this coin. I hope it will be reality and not a dream. So let's help it stay strong.

I agree, I would like to see this coin grow and grow, how long that would be whether it is a year or it is a decade then we will wait for it to grow as long as the community is willing to cooperate.
Yes, I don`t see a problem with waiting. Wallet must be online? Ok, it`s not a problem too. Not long ago XSH price was 3-4 satoshi and it pumped to 70 about 2-3 weeks. I can wait. Even if it will not pump - i lose nothing.

That's the way I feel too. It's not costing me anything to hold the coins, so why not hold them. Who knows where it will be in 6 months, or a year's time.
I guess you're right. It doesn't cost anything to keep this coin and see where it goes.

With a huge rising bitcoin, this coin fell to the full bottom. And DEV does not want to support at least the visibility of the life of the project. Such fail.

What problem do u see? The coin is down but what did u do to get it? U got it from airdrop, u could get about 5$ at top or nothing now. But yet u can wait and hope it will rise sometimes.

There is a flaw in your argument, who do you think buys the "free airdrop" coins on the exchange? Someone has to invest real money, don't they? It is also a case of time wasted getting involved with something the dev has no intention of supporting. Also what about the electricity used while having the wallet open to stake? That counts for something too right?

I do agree with you in some ways, it may rise one day, always possible. The main issue people have is the dev creating many similar projects and then just leaving them to die. It would be far better to stick to one and keep the development ongoing to add value, and even grow the community,

It seems a shame to waste the name TokyoCoin like this, it is a pretty decent name for a project.
If u buy coin u have to analyze it? I think it`s true. So it`s looks like a problem of buyers. I don`t think, u will angry at BTC then it price changes?

Oh, don't get me wrong. I agree with you. I'm not one of those people. I knew it would be like this from the start and sold pretty quickly. I was merely explaining why others may be angry about it. Not everyone does their homework, they just see a coin on the exchange and buy it, hoping for the best haha. Not everyone got the airdrop, people bought on the exchange. The unlucky ones. 😁

It is true that the project would have been better off if the developer stopped creating new projects, then just worked hard on one, new development updates, more exchanges etc. It appears he likes creating them more than he does putting in the work after.

Investing in crypto is a risk at all. Investing in such new free distributed coins is a Double risk. It's like a buing a lottery ticket. If you want to "stable and guarantie" investment you can make a bank deposit for several percents per year

Agree. There is no problem for nost Tokyocoin users because of Airdrop nature of the project. But participate in the project just for 5 bucks is ridiculous. Tokyocoin network works well enough, transactions fast, POS reward good. Even if the dev left the project it still remains the chance (a little chance) to the rising of TOKC  Smiley  There are several examples of coins without devs

  How to stake coins?
   1) First you need a balance, to stake.
   2) Leave your wallet open, don't spend your coins.
   3) You can reserve certain amount of coins to stake, under "settings > options" in wallet GUI
   4) Coins start staking after holding for 8 hours.  Passively.

Why I didn't Receive my Airdrop Coins?
   1) You did not Message a valid TokyoCoin address
   2) You did not Message at all.

thanks!!
