Is there going to be a public demo before the ICO of that AI filter so we can throw real and fake ratings against it and check the results for ourself? 95% is a bold claim and I'm not just going to take someone's word for it. Especially not if that someone is the one who's trying to sell some kind of magical algorithm without any proof.

I think there's just gonna be a BETA after the ICO, in Q2 I think. not sure you can demo this effectively without having all the systems in place.

They have competitors in non-crypto or crypto niche already? What similar services exist already?

The worst part about these popular topics here is, finding the answer to the question you asked a day or two ago. Any word from the team about possible smear campaigns and alternate accounts reputation boosting and the all-around abuse of the system?

I would appreciate a detailed and structured summarizing statement from the devs im with your opinion

The devs have stated that they will use AI and manual checks of users and ratings in order to prevent this kind of abuse. However, your concerns and questions are valid. This will probably be their biggest task to solve before going live.

Yes, there are AI filtration, and manual filtration.
AI first and then followed by manual filtration.
The quality of this platform will depend on these things.

We have several stages of reviews verification:
- At first, we are using an AI machine moderation, that analyses more then 50 parameters, such as tone analyzer, IP, geolocation, reviews frequency etc.
- Some of the reviews automatically declined by the system, some of them will get manual filtration.
- Second important part - is user rating in the system - it consists of overall score, age of account, number of ratings given for others. If user has low rating or if its newbie in the system, the more filters are provided to his/her rating.
- Third part is that we are limiting the number of rating, which can post one account per day/week/month. It depends of user rating.

During pre-alpha-testing all of these factors showed 95% of fraud detection. But this is only pre-alpha and we are still working with the algorithms Smiley

yes, that sounds about right. they seem to have covered all the bases. I'm glad they taken this so serious because a reputation system can make or brake a person.
I like how they think to manage the situation of fake ratting, 95% is a good percentage gain in alpha testing.
Oh, so that's 95% chance that they will detect and fix fake rating? If so and if they are going to improve that result, they would be able to almost entirely eliminate faking
Yep, pre-alpha-testing, so it can even be better than that.
I hope the alpha version will release soon.

is there something to Sogn up for or is it an open alpha

95% is amazingly high if true already. It's impossible to reach 100%, but it's still interesting to see whether the 95% will stack up in real world situations

95% would be EXTREMELY high! Hope they can deliver!

Right on. Thank you for replying to me. We will just have to wait to see it in practice to see how well the AI and manual filtration system works on a billion people. If this technology existed, wouldn't Twitter and YouTube use it?

I think the lottery idea is very cool, it’s a nice way to incentive investors and reward them. I think REPU can do a lot of things and have many applications. The project will be worth it I think.

The investors lottery is cool for encouraging more investments. Also a bounty lottery will encourage maketing which also directly contribute in more sales. I think they should consider too on the marketing side and promotional giveaways

Hey guys! 👋
We are happy to announce ✅staring of the Closed Round sales in only 1 week!✅
Moreover, we’ll provide ‼️EARLY BIRDS PROMO BONUSE - 10% FOR THE FIRST 100 ETH.‼️
These bonuses will be provided to the existing bonus program.

Details of the Closed round:

  • Minimum investment - 1 ETH
  • Bonuses - starting from 2 ETH
  • Early birds bonuses - 10% of bonus for the first 100 ETH

CHANCE TO WIN up to 600.000 REPU tokens in LOTTERY

If you plan to invest
Fill out this short form: https://[Suspicious link removed]/forms/5fARHKCgxzdgQHh12

The chance to win repu tokens in lottery, is this only for investors, or is it open for everyone?

Yes, Chance to take part in lottery is only for investors. The rules:

The lottery will be held in 2 stages with prize pools of 600,000 and 650,000 tokens accordingly - after Pre-ICO
and ICO. Within 2 weeks upon completion of each stage, the first 5 winners will be selected - these are the 5 largest
sums in descending order that will be credited to our account, and 45 random winners who will receive tokens.
Distribution of tokens among winners:
• 1st place - 10%
• 2nd place - 5%
• 3rd place - 3%
• 4th place - 2%
• 5th place - 1%
• 6-50 place - 80% (evenly distributed)

I never win something like this. If there is 51 person in there i will get the 51th seat.

Still it is a nice program for encouraging people to being an early bird.

Nice offer from repu. 45 winners will be randomly selected and as I understand every investor has the chance to win one of the prize.
Guys, if you distribute the rest 80% of tokens between 45 random investors, each of them will have 1.77% - that's more than the 5th place and almost as much as the 4th one. Am I right?

Thank you for finding a typo! Below are the updated details of lottery token distribution.
Distribution of tokens among winners:
• 1st place - 10%
• 2nd place - 5%
• 3rd place - 4%
• 4th place - 3%
• 5th place - 2%
• 6-50 place - 76% (evenly distributed)

The one-pager of REPU ICO: https://repu.io/onepager_eng.pdf

I think from now on every ICO should do this.

But please update it with info on token price and token sales dates.

You can find the info on the token price on our website. Token sale dates will be updated soon Smiley

I liked the onepager (https://repu.io/onepager_eng.pdf), they explained what they solve and how are going to distribute tokens and basic info(which is helpful enough) about the team behind the project. I think all the ICO's should do this type of informative onepager. Good thinking.

One pager is very helpful to understand what an ICO is about. Many projects have this.

thats so cool. yeah all of the project should do that. it allows a perfect first impression

What a good idea! Everything completely clear.

Awesome onepager. Good idea. Just what it is, which problem it covers and some general information about repu.

Interesting idea.  How does it compare to Evernym?
These are slightly different projects, the Evernym have an emphasis on the identity of the individual, in REPU on her reputation. I agree the projects concepts are similar, but comparing them is not entirely correct ..

It might be good to dig a little deeper on this comparison... i don't think people really know the difference.

It was so close to 100%, it could be said almost certainly. So, only 5% of the likelihood of such faking is undetectable, hopefully after pre-alpha they can further downplay it's possibility.
