I was wondering, what are at the moment direct competitors of Repu? I dont think i have ever seen any other project focusing on rating.
As far as i know, there is not a direct competitor.
You can count every rating website out there as a slight competitor but in their niche there is none.

In the future, this project will mark on the pages of the history of the cryptoworld as the first to give an accurate rating on the services and companies not thru the "likes" system but thru the feedback method on a precise way using the unforgeable technology of the Blockchain.
I like this project too but about future, it is too optimistic. Still, who knows, maybe you are right.
To make an accurate rating system will be so hard. The best possibility is to be the better rating system compared to others. I think repu can do it!

i guess, we are in need of the repu platform, not only for people, for businesses also. like mentioned before the thing about tripadvisor. that way people can really give out a trusted reputation vote for a company and less fake ones, generated by bot armies.
I would assume it has a lot of potential use case scenarios with almost everything that matters to us. This could be revolutionary!

Yes the visibility of REPU continue to increase, i think it’s a good thing for the sucess of the project. The concept is unique I think, it’s a very good point for crypto world too.

A lot of data and information's are needed for this kind of project, similar to building up a new social platform, thats why it will be tricky to attract such a huge number of users and make them feel they are rewarded for their ratings. I guess we will have to wait for the start of their platform to see, if their approach will be good enough.
In this beginning, the platform needs to intencivize people to use this platform more than just reward them with tokens.And after its popular enough, people will come by themselves.
How else would you suggest to encourage people for using REPU except for rewarding them with tokens? That's pretty much the only one and the most effective way, imo.

Repu got a lot of visibility, inside and outside of Btct, this has brought interested people interested in the topic, I like the way the Team conducts the work and it seems Professional to me because of that. Surely we will still see an extension of this thread, as more Investors will arrive

Talking about PRU... Have you seen the cryptocelebrities game? It's basically the same thing except it's a game of chicken and the stakes are very high. You can 'buy' celebrities with ETH and hope someone else buys them from you for a higher price. Donald Trump is yours for 151 ETH. Monica Lewinsky costs only 3 ETH. I think this system is more reliable than a ratings system where you don't have a stake in it.
It's something like those cats that the cryptoworld was crazy about several months ago? Well, people make money everywhere where it is possible...It's kinda similar, but instead of looking for cats with rare traits or lucky numbers, now there are famous people. A much simpler system, you don't have to breed them
It's kinda like collecting and trading baseball cards, except there's only one of each. This turns it into a reputation system because the most interesting people cost the most.

It's really complex, you have to count in if you're biased on something. A stupid example, you're biased against mercedes' cars, you don't like it. Mercedes throw out the best car in the world and do you know what you are gonna do? You're not going to rate it objectively because you're biased
Imo, even if you aren't biased a rating by humans is unavoidable subjective and depends on and reflects your preferences, experiences, etc.
Bias isn't even a static thing for each individual.
Opinions also change over time.
If you rated Bitcoin 2 months ago it's rating would have gone through the roof. But if you asked 4 days ago many people would say it's a fad.
Are fidget spinners still a thing?
How is Repu going to tackle that?

Even though there's been a lot of discussion in the thread on how the system will work, it would be extremely helpful to our understanding if we could see/try a demo. Once we experience it, we will be able to make a better judgement

Some social platforms are developing in a geometric progression, if the same happens with the REPU, the platform will be filled with information very quickly.what do you mean with geometric progression? could you explain this better? thx
