I would believe you if it wasn't for all the social media hype this coin is beginning to receive.

Just a massive pump and dump -- it was amazingly obvious for the past week. You think all that buying was genuine demand? 

 

I am very excited about the new developments of this coin.
I have a project coming soon too, I hope It can be as innovative as reddcoin.  

Testnet version is for testing only and do not send to any exchange.
The coin on testnet is like another coin even though its REDDcoin.

I tried sending to mintpal and it worked. 2000 confirmations are required for getting your coins to mintpal as of now.
That's roughly 2 or 3 days. Check the balance page deposit detail to see confirmation progress.

which wallet version can deposit to mintpal?

The network fee for that transaction is shown as zero in the explorer.
But that could not be the problem. Many of my transactions are like that and it confirms very fast.
Contact cryptsy to solve it there, they can only do something if no blocks are accepting that txn.
Same time, ReddCoin jumped to 30 levels and consolidating in the range 24 - 26 to get energy for the next upmove.
Mintal exchange shows no sell volume and huge buy price of BTC0.000005.

The network has not confirmed after more then 2 weeks, what do i do now?

PoSV RC2 binaries are now available for download here . This is for testnet only. You shouldn't have to re-sync blockchain. Just replace existing RC1 wallet with RC2 and start it with testnet=1 addnode=108.174.49.42

Current Strategic Position

With official release of PoSV around the corner (in a few weeks), it's good time to review the strategic position Reddcoin is in today. If you are a good player of chess or Go, you'd understand that to win a game, one has to build up advantage incrementally through each move. So where are we today?

PoSV was designed to address multiple technical and economic issues as described in the white paper. It'll provide better network security and better aligned economic incentives among participants. It renders mining and ASIC obsolete. It rewards active stakeholders and provides a solid foundation for our ecosystem.

All the existing vanilla PoS coins, to my best knowledge, trace their source code to Peercoin which was a fork from Bitcoin in 2012. The code base of Bitcoin has been under active development since then and few, if any, new features in Bitcoin made it to the code base of vanilla PoS. By comparison, PoSV has been implemented based on Reddcoin release 1.2.1.0 which already contained hundreds of commits from upstream Bitcoin. PoSV is uniquely positioned among all PoS coins to absorb any innovation in Bitcoin in the future. This gives us huge competitive advantage over time.
Because PoSV has been written based on a different code base, I had to understand every single line of code in existing PoS and now have a very thorough understanding of the technical details. This allows us to gradually introduce more features to PoSV in the near future. This stands in stark contrast with coins which follow a fork-and-tweak-and-desert model.

I've written PoSV in a way that deters copycats.
Our next-generation social wallet is designed to work in synergy with PoSV to encourage user activities. It has a sleek GUI and built-in functionalities such as news feed and chat. It can also connect to remote daemons to provide better user experience for running full nodes.
The success of getting Reddcoin listed on Mintpal by mere voting demonstrates beyond any doubt the quality, will and power of our community. When we set our eyes on a goal, we work together and make it happen.

Reddcoin is created for a niche market: to facilitate social interactions between people. It's a very ambitious project with a lofty goal. It's also like a giant jigsaw puzzle. I will officially release PoSV in coming weeks. New features for PoSV are already being planned for later releases.

On Cryptsy its taking more time I have few transactions which have already more then 2500 confirmations but not added in my account

RDD TO THE MOON.

I will take around two days to get that much confirmations.
Its seen as a security measure implemented.
I think it will help the coin migrate to PoSV smoothly without having any issues.
Recently ReddCoin is very popular and also in the eyes of hackers.

How long should this transfer?

Earlier we analysis that ReddCoin will consolidate at the range 17-20 for some time.
The short consolidation is over as per current price chart and it moved above 0.00000020 to 0.00000024.
As per further analysis from the charts the price move will accelerate further by taking consolidations in between.
Its now a perfect buy environment. Redd is more liquid and more widely available, more tipped.
