So other than pumping / dumping on noobs, making empty promises (see the linked tweet) and fudding on other projects, nothing really happens here?

I wonder how long it will take until this project will drop below even 100 sat... seems like even Fireice gave up on pumping recently.

I hope, that at least some people are smart enough to dump this scam asap.

ZooomEx- a new cryptocurrency exchange!
Is this just a fork of Monero (as I see the same algo as has Monero - Cryptonight). Do you have any other unique functions which does not exist in Monero?

Thanks for video.
Actual hash in calculations on WTM can be not exactly correct. Always check yourself.
Regarding amd - they hash more if you downvolt them. As an owner of Rx cards you will find some guides helpful here: https://www.reddit.com/r/XmrStak/comments/ckugbx/ryo_cryptonightgpu_hashrates_configs_amd/ and NV here - https://www.reddit.com/r/XmrStak/comments/cgfly9/ryo_cryptonightgpu_hashrates_configs_nvidia/

also AMD can be downvolted and eat way less W, making it more optimal mining.
Regarding GUI wallet - you should definitely give a try to SOLO mining in GUI! And you can use remote node for sending coins without downloading BC on your PC.
If you have any questions - feel free to ask.
thanks for video again

With Ryo Wallet Atom 1.3.1 effortless solo mining in Cryptonote coins with Cryptonight algorithm becomes reality.
Version 1.3.1 includes a built-in solo pool that works with all major miners. You can point your miners to Atom and mine with zero fees and without giving any pool operator record of your mined rewards helping network decentalisation.

I like these changes in the emission of RYO, I completely agree with them. During the time when the reward for the block will be 97 coins, there will be a lot of pressure on the value of the coin by miners and this may reduce the cost of the coin.

There is a revised version of the emission curve: https://www.reddit.com/r/ryocurrency/comments/bh9ei7/community_debate_proposed_emission_change_part_two/

This model has a "plateau" instead of a peak. This is to counteract moving the peak closer. Feel free to leave a comment on Reddit if you have an account there.

Please keep in mind, this is a debate not a vote. Your reasoning matters.

The idea of changing the emission curve of Ryo has come up several times since diverging from Sumokoin. Over the last few months, a few community members and myself discussed the current curve and aimed to come up with a concrete proposal for what a modified emission curve could look like, instead of just saying "it needs to be changed."

This effort resulted in a new curve that still follows the philosophies of the current camel distribution, as to not be radically different than the current curve. The purpose of this discussion is to gather feedback on the fundamentals of changing emission in general, and if this proposed model accomplishes improving the monetary policy of Ryo.

Read the following document and provide pros/cons of changing the emission curve:

I'm not aware of a cryptonote coin that functions differently right now, but that's some welcome feedback.

ALL wallets that I tried (CN coins included) used OS variable paths. Like %programdata%, or %appdata%. NO ONE of them uses hardcoded links like C:\ProgramData. As far as I'm aware of programmer's coding standards - it's rather unhealthy and lowlevel to use hardcoded links.

Guys, new gui wallet is very buggy!
I try to migrate from lite wallet. Launch new atom wallet - and it demands that folder "C:\ProgramData\ryo" should be present. WTF? I never had any blockchain data on my C: drive, neither it's default OS location. It's all on other drives. And the wallet doesn't start and I can't change anything.

Allright, I put a symbolic link from my existing folder to C: Now wallet can start. I change folder data setting, close wallet and delete symlink. Try to launch wallet - and again it demands "C:\ProgramData\ryo". That's clearly some obvious bug.

Also I'm trying to use remote node, and it says node is not available.

I inquired about this a few pages back also and mosu_forge provided an explanation. The conversation starts here.

Edit:

BTW, once you have the wallet running, you must go to settings and save the current setup so config.json with the correct info registers at the default location (C:\ProgramData\ryo\gui\config.json). The rest of the files/folders would then reside and remain at the explicit location you defined.

What is "BC folder"? I see only "Data Storage Path" and changing it doesn't resolve the issue.

Blockchain folder, is what he meant I'm sure.

Yes, the data storage path will direct where the blockchain gets stored, but you'll still need the folder for a variety of configuration files, logs, saved wallets ect.  I'm not aware of a cryptonote coin that functions differently right now, but that's some welcome feedback.

I can see how a user could welcome the ability to choose an installation directory for all program data to be stored, especially if they prefer to install things outside of the C drive.
