As you might have heard, Ryo (and every other crypto-currency) is a p2p network. An essential feature of such a network is a list of potential peers to connect to. This obviously presents privacy problems:

since I know top performing config - I disabled auto-tune feature. getting 1810hs on CN-Heavy out of reference vega 56 (samsung)W10 + 18.6.1gpu 1600mhz/mem 950mhz both at 950ma

auto-tune works fine and Stak finds the best intensity - correct

New version of xmr-stak 2.7.0 is available for download. This update brings you following:

  • Auto-tune function of intensity. When enabled - miner will try different intensities and lock on the best performing. The step of adjustment is configurable.
  • Adjustable interleaving function (suitable for dual-threaded configs).
  • Added "strided_index" value - 3.
  • Optimizations for AMD GPU-s (up to +15% in hashrate in CN-heavy compared with previous version ).
  • Optimizations for NVIDIA GPU-s.
  • Auto-generated config for AMD is now dual-threaded.
  • Various bugfixes.

ISn't blockchain meant for transparency, how do you guarantee privacy and why blockchain?

Depending on the use case transparency could be a desired feature, but who would want to have their paycheck or their savings/checking account balance available for all to see.

Privacy is provided through the CryptoNote Technology and RingCT.  Blockchain because it enables "trustless" exchange of value.

At block 197235 We will have planned block reward increase:
41.97 -> 48.59 Ryo base reward per block.
You can check network height on your mining pool stats, or block explorer:

🖥 More info about emission - https://ryo-currency.com/faq/#2
Nearly 7 more coins per block.
higher block rewards simultaneously with difficulty's exponential rise.
it's not good, at all.

You contradict yourself. Higher diff (because nethash is higher) = lower reward per kh for each miner. The reward increase will even out profitability a little. Ofc nethash may grow further, but there is nothing bad in current emission scheme.

Why do you think so? Sounds a bit illogical, right?  Wink
