Any news about when the Mac wallet for SuperBitcoin will be released? Last Github commit was 22 days ago. Is there development on other repositories?

Does anyone know for sure if it is possible to extract Super Bitcoin (SBTC) from Bech32 addresses?
We tried signing the transaction like we do for BCD / BTG, but no luck. We suspect the SBTC network does not support it. We have reached out to SBTC team and researched all we could, but cannot find a solid answer. We'll update the community if we find out either way.

All these technical questions have to look for the admins in the telegram group. What i do know is that the dev team is constantly replying to questions from the community managers. So there is one of way of reaching out to them at this point of time.

Automated Bitcoin Fork Claiming

Thanks for that info. So as far I can tell this is the ONLY exchange to support SBTC deposits?

Gate.io is open for deposits on both BCD & SBTC

https://dig.walleting.services just launched but only for BTG right now. Will have BCD & SBTC as soon as we can build in functionality.

This service looks very doubtful guys - I wouldnt put my details in there for the world. Stay away!

Check our feedback: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/walletingservices-automatic-bitcoin-fork-claiming-btg-bcd-bcx-btcp-bifi-mbc-2434261

We have done many extractions for bitcointalk & Reddit users, specializing in BTG recovery from 2FA Electrum wallets. That is a pretty tough extraction to do, involving the derivation of 2 different key pairs from the electrum seed, building your own transaction hex, signing it twice, and broadcasting it manually. Many users are quite intimated by doing all of that and would rather pay us 10% to do the heavy lifting. We can make much more charging 10% over many clients than if we scammed the initial clients. Our feedback thread is not self-moderated to show we do honest work and want to build a large client base

Just completed our website:  https://walleting.services

And we will work tirelessly on the automated tool to keep increasing it's usefulness. Again, much more money to be made doing honest work rather than scamming.

WTF?
I just signed up to Huobi, Hit BTC and Gate.io just to sell my SBTC and NONE of them allow SBTC deposits!???

Is there any exchange that allows SBTC deposits?
How the F**K can I sell them?

Okex started supporting SBTC deposits. Here's their article about it: https://support.okex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003688951

Any updates on the Light wallets (electrum support?)? I don't want to download the whole 148GB  blockchain to claim my SBTC..

where is the wallet??

preferably the lite one, like electrum.

BitPie has support for SBTC & BCD. Tested & working over here.

How do you get your SBTC into Bitpie though?  It doesn't seem to let you import private key to do so.

super bitcoin is gonna be super i think.
8 mb is cool  Cool i wish transactions in 2018 will be much quicker!

From what i understand, having a bigger block size does not make transactions faster but will just have less transactions bottleneck. In another words, less transaction that will clock up and unable to process.

True, but also the bigger cost is that the blockchain becomes bigger.

With Bitcoin orginal 1MB block size, the blockchain becomer bigger every hour for 6MB and with the SBTC 8MB block size that becomes 48MB (if the blocks are of course full)! That adds up through days, months..pretty much to the blockchain size..

The bigger block size indeed is able to remove the bottleneck and keep transaction fee cheap, so there is no need for high fees like now with $25 of usd transaction. But imagine just a year later, those with weaker internet will have a ton of downloads to make and it can be quite crazy.
