for those nodes not syncing, the problem may be you use klondike.conf, it is wrong use klondikecoin.conf

We'll happily hand it to you so you can do a better job. The community leaders had full access to the kdc bitcointalk account and website and it was their responsibility to update those. Contrary to popular belief Dave kept communicating with them.
As mentioned several times over we have been working on the exchange previously promised, the idea being to feature KDC pairs. And we have another project which i am not disclosing which would have featured KDC prominently.
In light of the abuse we have been taking and the fact everyone here seems to have turned into entitled, unappreciative, demanding children we will continue working on these projects and release them separate to KDC.
We have received various threats and abuse over the last few weeks, why the hell would we want to continue investing any time in KDC? THe idea of getting community leaders in were for them to handle marketing and thread updates whilst we work on the features promised. The exchange is fully functional but not quite complete in looks, deposits, withdrawals, trades etc all work. We just have major security concerns in light of all of the exchanges that have popped up and been wiped out over the last few months. This is delaying the release.
As for the wallet sync issues, this has been corrected ina fix pushed to github 4 days ago, we were waiting on Karl to build the new wallet bit he has been having problems with his build environment.

We have not abandoned the coin, several prominent members look to have thrown their toys out of the pram and have started giving that impression, damaging the coin further - however they now want a community takeover so they can have the coin.
A community takeover is more than welcome, you have a week from now to organise hosting for the site and other services (block explorer, official pool, website etc) We will be keeping the domain name but will change the nameservers to ones you control so you can manage the DNS, you cannot have the site theme as that was a paid for theme. Organise yourselves here and PM me for access details, after a week all the data will be removed from our servers.
We will no longer be releasing our exchange for KDC, we will release it as a normal alt exchange.
Please take a step back and look at the alt market and you'll see many coins have dropped, the ones surviving are mostly these ridiculous country drop coins with heavy pre mines. Have you taken a look at the price of BTC recently.
