hello KDCers! Chunky Pools added its klondikecoin pool the other day, and we are looking for some new miners.

Look, here's our story. I'm a miner first, pool operator second (although this is quickly changing -- I'm starting to love being a pool op too) and I was frustrated with the current state of pools. Every single pool I tried until I launched my own would have a lot of downtime, the support was nonexistent, etc. So I decided to make my own, and since I have -- and I'm not saying this because I'm biased (I obviously am biased!) -- but it has objectively been a much more stable mining experience. I believe my miners have only fallen to the backup pool for a total of about 10 minutes the entire month of January. I usually respond to support requests within a few minutes. We have SSL for your security, we implement a lot of feature requests, and we have a great community on IRC which is averaging about 70 people at all hours of the day. We have customized MPOS, both its front-end and backend. We have a profit-switching multiport that we are currently beta-testing and tweaking, and we're working on a lot of upcoming features. And we don't even charge a mining fee!

The point of me typing all this is to hopefully get our story out and get some new faces around Chunky Pools. We are dedicated to the task and want to be the best pool around. I hope to see some of you guys and girls soon.

Yes, for me mining KDC is much more a sure thing with more upside. While its down now I will get MAX coins and when it rebounds I will be getting that much more value when I sell.  Easy for me.  I was planning to mine UTC for a week but now with all the problems and whatnot, it will be cheaper to buy aftermarket than wasting my time there.

I was going to write a post on their board, but I know it will get deleted.  Bumface is going to get  slammed on BTC-e. I will troll him there for fun.

231K now.  It's now just as likely for me to hit a solo block mining ultracoin as it is mining klondike coin.  Actually, because of the scrypt-jane mining rates, I'm probably less likely. 

Yes, because of the terrible launch you will be able to buy the coins cheap.  Their rep is tainted.  The coins would have been in high demand otherwise, but now I will just wait until it hits an exchange.  Back to KDC mining while the difficulty is low.  Once everyone realizes that LEAF is not going to the moon and the halving starts, there will be MASS exodus into all the other altcoins.  Aso, I think a lot of Hashpower went to UTC but its a waste of time for  me now.  It will be cheaper to buy it at an exchange now,  I feel bad for the people who bought presale.  Pre-sold, pre-mined, Instamined and F'ed up launch. Didnt keep any of their promises.  Thats a hat trick.

I saw you posting over in the ultracoin thread, so I'm going to assume it was that one.  It has been a pain.  Nothing but rejects and orphans myself.

Share difficulty now is 188K on a 30 sec block or the equivalent of 375K on a one minute block like this coin.  I'm about to stop wasting my time there.

I was wondering why hashrate was so low, Was always thinking of opening my own set of pools but dont really have the time to do it

Lets all be calm, its not the end of the world.  Do we have to go through this everyday?  LOL  Im throwing 15,000mH/s at KDC right now while the difficulty is low.  Tried a different coin launch today.  What a scam.  I appreciate the devs on here and their honesty even more.

i think its a risk either way to keep mining or stop mining. if you keep mining and the coin never gets anywhere then your STUCK, and if you stop mining and the coin makes it then your STUCK, having any amount of a coin is never a good enough reason to stop mining. thats like saying hey i already have a potential 50k should i stop now? or keep going? lol
