I don't get it. You are promoting green energy by wasting energy and resources ?

Do I have to remind you that the electricity you use to mine SolarCoin come from Coal, Oil, Natural Gas and Nuclear ?

Do I have to remind you that ASIC-scrypt miner are made of rare resources and that these hardware become obsolete in few months ?

It sounds like we have a new guy around here!

Why block explorer is not working?

Block explorer looks fine to me: http://blockexplorer.solarcoin.org/browse_blocks/SolarCoin

Please DEV update thread, give some news.

BlackCoin v. 2 has been chosen as our new codebase for PoS. Developer has studied it thoroughly and determined that he is confident he can do the job but it will take longer than previously expected. Won't be ready by block 300,000. He's working on it as fast as he can.

Is there a plan for when we are able to buy things with solarcoin? I know this is a long term plan but was wondering if it has been discussed so far.

You can buy Nicks book.
I think it's only available in the states. If they send them overseas I'm keen to buy one.

I'd love it if solarcity started accepting it. Hah that would be awesome.

Imagine if you used 5 solarcoins toward your purchase at solarcity then say solarcity gives  you 5% off for the 5 coins this would be huge for solarcoin.

You would see auctions on ebay for 5 solarcoins going for hundreds of dollars i bet.  5% off is a huge amount on a large install even 1% lol

5% of $20,000 install is $1000   would you pay $100 for 5 solarcoins on ebay to save $900?

That would be amazing.

BTC VOL 3.55899363 BTC     bittrex

boy was i wrong about being delisted  Grin
A high of 1100 satoshis, haven't seen that level in a few months. But I'm sure we'll fly north of there once PoS starts.

And I was hoping to take advantage of a few more miners dumping at the sub-400 price range. But now there are about 2 BTC of buy orders before we see 400 satoshis again on bittrex. I'm impressed by the solid buy support we're seeing!
