long life and still hold your solarcoin

You got it Wink

Solarcoin is one of the only Altcoins I still enjoy holding and trading. Because in my opinion it's worth every penny.
I did own quite a few shitty altcoins back in the day but I converted almost everything to solarcoin

Edit: It would be great to finally see it on btc-e or another large exchange like the coinbase exchange.

I think it would be best to remove the image with the giant sun on the solarcoin website.

I'm talking about the first one out of 5 that pops up when you go to : http://solarcoin.org/en/front-page/
What are your thoughts about this, I don't really like it

Maybe keep it as a sun and just tone it down a bit to something more inviting kind of looks like it's about to rain hell-fire down on us at the moment.. Smiley

Yes that would be great, I have a feeling it looks a bit ''scammy''right now...

Not sure if I would say "scammy" as such...I'm thinking something more like this http://www.tullahomanews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/web-Sky-and-Sun-pic.jpg. So more earthly and inviting if that make sense.

Yes this looks better, as long as the super bright red goes away I think we should be good

Nice! Are you able to remove/close some programs and turn off the monitor to see what the lowest possible hourly power usage is for the PC stick when staking?

It's a fully functional PC so yes I can open the task manager and quit the processes I don't need in the background...
Im using the same power supply as the one I had on my raspberry PI so i think it uses about 2-3 watts.

Here is another screenshot with the task manager:

I can only recommend this for staking Solarcoins.
It's really awesome! A bit slow every now and then but more than sufficient for staking.

Edit: I took another screenshot of the back of the box, it displays the power consumption.

I think it translates to 2.69 Watt when it operation and 0.04 when in standby mode Smiley

Very Cool! Glad it worked.

+1, very cool guys.
It's running on about 2-3W?

Yes that's correct. Amazing right? it's just what I needed to replace my 500W machine I was using before Smiley

Just an FYI, Affiliates sites are moving along nicely http://www.solarchange.co/  www.solcrypto.com .  The operating model going forward will likely see these 2 sites develop software and back-ends fro web-based wallets, direct inverter feeds etc. that are available for sub affiliate licensing.  Anyone interested in a sub-affilaite country should reach out.  Canada and India are currently in talks.

PM me for intro's to the affilaites if you are interested in representing a countries claims process and want some form of Turn-key platform to support your efforts. Everything under the sun is up for grabs but going fast.

Nick

Sites are definitely looking and moving along nicely I had a good look around www.solcrypto.com the other night functions exactly as I thought it would.

Sent you a PM regarding the Aus based sub-affiliate.

+1, Welcome Buds.
Yes, the Australian network is growing very quickly and that Sub-affiliate along with NZ will be very important.
Cheers,
