Yes i also bailed, after 45 minutes and only.06 of a coin at 5 m/h figured i better wait for awhile. I think it will be awhile before block 1000 at the future diff

I'm definitely out for now... I didn't hit anything solo mining because of the sharp rise in difficulty... and then after I switched to a pool it went down after 20 minutes... combine that with attempting to justify mining at this difficulty for a fraction of 1 coin... it just isn't worth it to me right now... I might be back after block 1000... but until then I just can't find any reason to continue mining this right now

That is the problem - small server setups won't stand the load and still they say "come here, we are can take the load"...

Pools are very easy to set up, not so easy to handle if you don't have the hardware and experience.

Toying with the idea of setting up a DigitalOcean droplet, after block 1000 I really don't want to go beta testing all the pools.
