Having some issues with running the wallet on a Mac, even when bypassing the security.

Yeah there could be issues, and the mining doesn't go on continuously (as it shouldn't, since there aren't many transactions happening).
What I am thinking now is to take all the UTXO as of January 1, 2020 and to put them into a genesis block for the new version, which would work differently and better in various ways.
Not sure on ETA, but getting closer.
It would make a better foundation. Daily blocks (with 0 conf), AI, liquidity bot integration to send SMC as other crypto like DOGE for example.
Important thing is to just have your keys, which would be imported by a new wallet.

I'm up for ideas and discussions... but overall there doesn't seem to be much activity.
It seems like it's best to stick to just BTC (or BCH) and seasoned alts in the top 30.
Anyone else still around.....?

Well the asic x11 tech is industrial. And deep pockets still need alt x11 projects.
You have start, cann, and after that SMC.
SMC is easy called top5 x11 chains.
But the markets come to late, still looking for NXT-bitcons, so in the meantime HODL.
AXE IMG are firmly second and third highest x11 hashpopwer for half a year already, check AXE Github you will know why

Smartcoin is old and solid project, can be considered cryptocurrency OG, its time and use is variable from years ago. However nothing is everlasting and things change and market has changed too. So probably in the near future Smartcoin will be updated.

Great to hear about such an offer. For now the current X11 pools are okay, but I want to revamp the mining system before the end of the year. Could use help with adapting hardware and miner code.

Does anyone know who owns the top two SMC accounts? Is that Yobit and Cryptopia? Whatever happened to the Cryptsy coins? Just wondering.
They got sold.
Microguy picked up most of them, and returned .dat to each community.
If he had SMC then psionin woulda been contacted.
So I would say an educated guess is yes Cryptsy could be a large dormant LOST pile.
Yobit and Cryptopia wallets?
Cryptopia looks to never be claimable.
Yobit will likely resync in the year 2023 and actually have functional services should they last until then.
Interesting, thanks. Reason I'm wondering is because I want to implement super nodes for SmartCoin, where nodes with 100K+ SMC can set monetary policy and other system wide parameters, with the account balance setting the weight of the vote. So that would mean that the decisions that come from share-weighted voting would basically be in the hands of those top two wallets, if they are online and participating. Have to think about this more though.

Relaunch for this reason, to reignite attention? The name alone surely worth more than current market cap. Need to find a project in the investment world to tie it to for smart investment etc imo, i.e. in crypto and/or non crypto.
Still functioning after all this time maybe a selling point. Just my thoughts. Holding
