With all the DDOSing, it'd be nice to be able to solo mine this for a while. Does anyone have a spaincoin.conf example, or a list of nodes?

Hi
Im spanish. Here very few people knows cryptos. I think with one million coins is enough.

You need to spread the world to your friends and family, free money for everyone. Smiley

I wish they were doing this in the UK Cry

Waht's the population of spain? 40 - 50 mil?

Half of these coins is 25 mil, so they are looking at half a coin each?

That can't be right, I must be missing something?

I think I remember reading somewhere, that this coin isn't going to be supplied to ALL Spanish people, but only 8 million of them.

They're working off the assumption that many people won't claim the free coins, so will dish the 50% to the first 8 million who claim.

I could be wrong.

youre not. Announcement is here:

Premined coins distribution:
It will be done in 5 stages, starting one month after launch:
Stage   Coins/person   Coins:   People:
1   100   5M   50k
2   50   2.5M   50k
3   25   2.5M   100k
4   10   8M   800k
5   1   7M   7M
Total: 25M coins for max 8M people. We assume not every Spaniard will claim their coins. Each stage will last 2 moths, any coins remaining will be either rolled over to the following stage or destroyed. We will watch the coin supply and try not to flood the market giving away coins (we'll probably place daily quotas in the first few days of giving out coins, so that at least no more coins are being given away than being mined).

That makes sense, only the tech savy will claim most prob.

in defi we trust
I've been mining @ 72Kh/s for 13 hours and I have a grand total of 1.6 SPA Cry

I'm going to carry on till I hit 2 coins, then I am going to retire to a tropical Island and work on my tan.

This thing is difficult to mine, but that will keep the price nice and high.

What do you think a fair price for this coin is? Because 0.002 is way too cheep.

If the coins is a success it will go higher than BTC  , if the coins fails 0.
Unlike other coins , those nation coins have no middle choice.

I hope the Spaniards go for this coin, it's free money for them.

You're missing the fact that probably most of the people in spain have no clue about cryptos in general and no clue how to use it.
Take bitcoin for example ,with all the media coverage it got , there are only close to 30 millions transactions in the chain. How many users would that be?
Less than 200 000 by some analyst.
Even if we see the coin distributed to 8 million people , I will be amazed that more than 100 000 will use it. And those no more than once a week.
