"No block source available" even with the downloaded block chain and the long node list in a proper conf file.

Same problem here.
Just to be sure: I create a "securecoin.conf" in the directionary where the wallet lies and just add in differend lines "addnode=78.27.191.182", right?

Marketplace for sensor data
Downloaded today and it says No block source available even after I added the short list of nodes from the first page.

Try the long list and if that doesn't work, download the block data and peers file that I linked under it.

I had a wallet die about 4 days ago.  Where are this files located?

I installed that libleveldb-dev, it didn't make a difference -- unless I need to restart or something(linux noob)?

I ran the full installation script. I don't have any obvious file to double-click to make the securecoin program run though. Is there something else I have to do?

Hi can I get help compiling on Ubuntu 64 please? Here is the error I get on 'make':

I've seen - by searching 'linux' in this thread -- that other people have had this problem as well. Hopefully someone has a solution by now? If there is no solution I will reformat with Windows. I'm tired of nothing working on Linux...

Is SecureCoin resurrected? It seems that coin is dying...
Hash rate on src.coinmine.pl spiked from ~100Mh/s to 1Gh/s over the past week.

Thank you, everything is working! I had tried doing the shortcut thing but I had bad syntax.

(I missed the ":" between the username and password.)

There is also a misspell on the pool that I am using. They have secure coin (SRC) as (SCR)

Japool isn't working for me, I'm hashing but I can't find my stats or address in the payout queue, I'll try another pool.

I've not mined at Japool, but this pool is very reliable: http://src.coinmine.pl

I am trying to mine some SRC using minerd64_sse4.exe but I can't get it to work.

All I get is json_rpc_call failed...

Does that mean I have to have the securecoin client on the PC I'm trying to mine it?

No. Simply create a shortcut to minerd64_sse4.exe on your desktop and add the following after properties > Target: "...minerd64_sse4.exe"

-a quark -t (number of cores) -o http:// pooladdress:port --userpass=Username:Password

i mine src on http://src.coinmine.pl
it has most of the network hash so if you don't your not gonna get much if anything at all Sad
way it is now, i wouldn't even try solo mining..

Thanks, it worked. I am solomining on a Core i3 with the wallet miner (using setgenerate true -1) and getting over 43718 hashespersec. Now waiting for my first Securecoins.
