Downloaded today and it says No block source available even after I added the short list of nodes from the first page.

Try the long list and if that doesn't work, download the block data and peers file that I linked under it.

What is currently the best miner for this coin?

This is the one that I am using. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxKqW4aMUczmaTVfWjZEdnpqLVk/edit?usp=sharing&pli=1

I think its the fastest one for all quark-algo coins. If someone knows otherwise please chime in.

Any plans for a block explorer type site?

Looking for more information regarding difficulty.

Some charts would be nice.

i keep a fairly close watch on what goes on mining this 24/7 and i have noticed some weird behavior going on..
this also coincides with the guys running block explorers disappearing and their sites going down permanently.

i have been on a BIG pool for a long time pushing close to half a tera hash avg (@coinmine.pl) and i have seen it go down for periods last 2 days on and off
and while this was happening i ran my wallet and i see blocks being found pretty fast when coinmine was running or not..
the coinmine pool is getting slower and slower at finding blocks and i see some other pool or what ever is able to out hash us there now
and i know of no other pool etc that has power like that.. they have to be pretty fast to out hash us when we're pushing 500
So who the hell is it ? and should we bother anymore with no block explorer available ?

i have little confidence in this coin now and i am tempted to dump my SRC Sad
how is it i am the only guy who noticed this or even brought it up ?
like come on.. coinmine was pulling blocks like every 30 seconds now its averaging 10 fucking minutes and no one even notices wtf ?

i have a seen a ton of weird ass behavior going on lately with some powerful hashers going on in the scene..
i suggest people *start paying closer attention to what is going on :/

Seems to be fine at the moment, and the pool is finding most of the blocks (20 of the last 21!), at about 1/min.
Edit: I don't know of any way to see pool history back further than that, but my auto-payments seem to have continued at about the same rate they've always been. Are you sure the pool has actually been down? If you got some example times (and timezone) when you couldn't connect, I can check my transaction history to see if I was still connected then.

Can someone please assist as my linux knowledge is very limited. I'm trying to run via vps using atlantic.net as a host and using gigawatt's noobproof guide. Ok long story short i get the following error when running the setup script on ubuntu 12.04 64 bit.

/root/build-securecoin: line 5: cd: /root/quarkcoin-cpuminer/src: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `clean'.  Stop.
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
cp: cannot stat `./minerd': No such file or directory
Starting securecoin miner
update-rc.d: warning: /etc/init.d/cron missing LSB information
update-rc.d: see
System start/stop links for /etc/init.d/cron already exist.

please help, willing to donate in ppc.

Thanks
abdul
