To be clear: by using various schemes (CPUminer, multiple instances in virtual machines) I can get my CPU usage up over 700% (as mentioned before in this thread.) What I can't do is get any more hashes out of it than I can with half my cores running. Any ideas what the bottleneck might be?

Are you using the quark miner? (I use sse3 version)

My 8350 runs faster each core I add, up to 960kh/s in total (120 per core).

not sure what's happening with yours.

Your trying to solo mine with the wrong port, use what was posted above you to succeed in pool mining (or correct your rpc port for solo).

I downloaded this folder. In the folder are the following files:

minerd64_avx.exe - does not start, minerd64_avx.exe...minerd64_sse4.exe - write the following text:

Everything seems a little squirley from last night lol. However apples to apples... i did earn 14 src on p2p and 6.45 on CM, in approx. same time/hash frame..... i know your still tweaking things. I will do a same test again soon.

p2pool had to be extremely lucky as I checked algorithm shared earlier in this thread (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsoEvtUcZSjWdDJzd3Riek9Mb2RwUVhubUdrdEthclE#gid=0) and with your hashrate (600kH) and difficulty 793 you should get around 19.5 SRC/day.

You earned 6.45 on my pool in 6h which gives lets say 25 SRC/day (we probably has some luck as well). If you got 14 SRC in p2pool in 7 hours then go and play lottery Wink

nah the lottery never has treated me that well...lol,,, You almost sound like you dont believe it? 14 in 7hrs ...like I said I will run a bench again and report back soon

Also, on japool p2p I earned 14 src in about 7 hrs of test mining, hashing at maybe 600 k/h est. I switched over the same miners to coinmine around 1am, shortly after the pool came back up last night and have not received 1 payout yet? Huh

and its now been over 6hrs. so,,,not sure what to make of things.....
