its my 1st time when i use sgminer
1) Make sure you are using the correct miner, you need the darkcoin version also called sph-sgminer.
2) Replace "--scrypt" with "-k darkcoin" and it should work.
I think he is mining with scrypt. The mutipool got scrypt also. summercoinpool.com got x11, scrpyt and sha multipool

IMO , SUM is doing quite well considering this coin is less than a week old. First couple of days hit around 80 BTC trading volume at bittrex. Price tank down and developer still here to support and continue development.
Why? If 1 hundred people will donate 0.2 btc to see their SUM value increase x10, we won. Dev said he'll use some coins for promo-exchanges. If everyone keep free voting and donate some cents, we won. Don't you see how many people hold SUM, how many thread pages we've got?

Before Mintpal we will probably get on Cryptsy or another pretty big exchenge. Even for example Cryptsy would make SUM much, much more popular

Dev should probably talk with some exchanges like Cryptsy, too. It's great we are writing to exchanges, but this would make much more effect if Dev talk to Cryptsy admins, maybe offer some coins.

Up to block 18883 now but another 30 or so new blocks have been foun since so now I am even further behind!
