I think the dev purposely made the stake 10% daily so everybody would leave their wallets open while their personal files are uploaded to their web server.

Please do not judge now. Already price sunk. Dev already said he downloaded the wallet of Black coin and made few modifications. I don't think he did it on purpose. Nevertheless he is spending less time here when its really needed and appreciated. Already people are asking for a volunteer to look at the SummerCoin code

its actually very strange. If u see the exchange, first couple of days lots of volume meaning a group of people are buying a lot of SUM. This few days volume are very low even if the price got push down the volume are very low. The group of people are holding millions of SUM not making a move.

They cant actually make a move. Very less buy support. Unless the coin lives up to the initial hype it got during launch, I am afraid.

which means they have to pump the price to sell off their holding. Thats how it works. At low price u hold lots of coins. In order to sell off everything, price have to go up at least 5 - 10x to be unable to have enough order to unload. That is what happen to black coin where price are low for quite sometime before the ultimate pump to 1000x. I suspect at some point we will get listed on mintpal (maybe whales buy vote). There is where they will pump the price up and unload.

Your words make sense. Let us see what the Dev got next.

i think at the very least they will wait for 10% stake to be over so that not many people can unload on their pump. If i want to pump price i will make sure not many people is holding more coins than i do. If i control more than 50% of coins and i have 1000 BTC, i can manipulate the price

I am sure there are people out there holding millions of coins.

Dev, I calls it hows I sees it, okay?

To have put this coin out now without integrated, fully-tested coin-control from day one says to me that you're just in a rush to get the 'first X-11 PoS/PoW' label to trade off, to make you loads of personal dosh. I don't buy the 'foundation' stuff, just window dressing for the sheeple.

Yet I'll still mine.

I understand the mechanics of the coin, the market & PEOPLE enough to be confident that this is no more of a scam than 99% of the other alt-coins.

That this will be 'efficient use of my hash-power' for the PoW phase, that I have the nous & patience to make the best of my 'reward' through the PoS phase.

Many don't have those gifts.

I bless you & pray that they will be gifted to you one day.
+1, that's what l told them!

anyone good at programming can check the source code why the heavy traffic on wallet ?

Source code is probably clean i guess, but that fact doens't prove that wallet binaries are fine. If our dev is evil, he can still compile binaries with "extra malware" included while published sources are clean. And that's only the theory, i'm not accusing anyone here.

What recently happened with Asiacoin and Dafuqcoin has exposed huge weakness of crypto community. We use source codes without any knowledge to check it, even the experienced coders here are too lazy to scan whole source for evil lines of code (because this task take tremendous amount of time)

And also seems some people here r not interested at all in security...
For them r just ridiculous things!

What is good news for this coin?

Everything is working good (10% PoS, new wallet, new website etc), just some panic about some ridiculous stuff (virus, amount of traffic it generates etc..) what brings the value down. I wish I had some BTC left I would buy loads of it from dumpers. The only thing we need is a couple of good multipools.

...ridiculous stuff? I'm sorry but if i see my sum wallet uploads almost 2GB during the night i think it's normal to ask myself what it is uploading...
And evthing i did is to ask here if somebody else has experiencing the same...
and it seems it's true... the traffic it generates is abnormal compared to other pos wallets... not ridiculous... That's all!

Yes amount of traffic is unusual, here is the pic of traffic after 2 hours, i have feeling it is uploading my whole hard drive:

Our dev still can't explain the cause of this.

Who own the IP address 5.35.19.7 then ? It also appear on the pic of previous page.

May I ask you which software is it (above image) to see the traffic? I switched the wallet to different computer now. But I would like to see the history of traffic. Any suggestion how to see it? Thanks.

It is Network Monitor from Kaspersky Internet Security.
