if someone could provide me with a full status report of the coin. Are there any sync issues. does the blockchain work correctly. is there forking. the last statement by the old dev.

Wallet starting, syncing, staking, all works perfect. Transactions/blockchain is very fast. Not forking.

Well okay people ! It seems that we have a qualified not only dev , but team ! That is interested in taking over our beloved coin.
All we need is for the dev to release the code to the new dev, so lets all message him and ask him to do so.
Supercoin has a future, we just have to work for it!

I tend to disagree with this because if the dev has brought a ton of coins to compensate his time, and the coin continues, then walking away at least for now because of other issues, work or whatever is not such a far fetched thing especially as he is willing to pass on the code for others, for the continued advancement of the coin.
I have always considered this coin a great opportunity for new qualified devs since Supercoindev has decided to pass on the coin and code.

I agree with you. I'm just saying that is the objection that I have come across. I defend the coin because I take it on faith, I know the coin has great features like the speed of transactions and the POS is great, but other people seem to be incredulous. I'm not a dev I don't know how to move the coin forward or I would. I have tried to solve our problem but to no avail.

What would your plans be for this coin if you took over?
would need to see the actual state of the code to know what to do next. but the roadmap itself seems pretty laid out. so probably continue on that.

I can see in the SUPERCOIN roadmap that there is a promise to connect the wallet directly to the Exchanges. That is a future that we are developing for our other coins as well. We are in a advanced stage with that. Have a look https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9544646
So we can implement that in SUPERCOIN as well. It is a closed source future that we only use for our coins.

Some hope wake up after reading this. Thanks to you that you considering to take over.
We just took 30 minutes to do an in depth look at the coin. We can confirm that the block chain is working correctly. there seems to be no real health issues with the coin itself. if the current dev now is willing to hand over the code, we would be able to take control of development of supercoin. a closer analysis of the code itself would be needed to determine the coins next immediate action however.
if you have any in depth questions about our thoughts and feelings right now, feel free to PM me and i will answer as quickly as i can.

The sync works perfect, blockchain works correctly, no forking.
Last statement of the dev was that he is leaving due to personal issues and not having enough time and promising to release the code of the coin.

I haven't been able to convince anybody to take on the project, I want to see the coin succeed.
