super = no dev

correct?

Effectively; Yes.

More precisely; there is a dev still attached to the coin and he is trying to step away.We are currently waiting/having a hard time searching for a new qualified dev to take over.

I will give btc/super to a qualified dev to lead and maintain the coin So far I think we have at least 60-100K of super pledged. Also the wallet just needs the supercoinconfig file to be dropped into the appdata folder, it's an easy fix but you are right it needs to be complete for easy installation for new users ...

I really wish I  new a qualified dev to take over, Is it possible to find another anon coin and merge with them? SUPER so far has not been disproved from the claim to be the only TRUE anon coin. And from experience I can tell you it is by far the fastest coin I've seen! Anyone have ideas?

Supercoin is still unbelievably fast, it certainly has that going for it.

As for the pledges, I am willing to setup a publicly known wallet address for these pledges towards the future of Super. I will pledge 50k myself. I've made remakes to pledging for the future to Super on more than one occasion in the past.  Now that there seems to be others feeling the same way, I feel it best to get this fund together to aid in our dev search.  Unless the community feels that this fund should be in the hands of another, Ill set this up later this evening.  (Pending I can sort out an issue I've been having with the wallet at the moment, heh.)

I have stated this before and I will say it again. I will donate super to qualified persons to review and verify the code if we can get a new dev team established and I know others were willing to do the same. I have no problem shelling out 20k super to support the cause. We need to act fast. We need buy support, we need an active dev team, we need marketing, and we need to come together as a community to support this coin, for better or worse...

I will donate 20k super too!!

I will donate 20k as well.

I would also donate toward hiring someone to create a complete installer for the wallet.

If people still want to accumulate more Super even with the looming threat of a Bittrex de-listing, their must be hope for Super after all.

There is stuff out there that you just don't know that you don't know it. Deep as that may be, I'm Holding.

This is my favorite coin right now, super fast. Every time I buy some and send to my wallet from bittrex I get them in under a minute, sometimes 10-20 seconds

Bittrex

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on November 14th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.

Today BTC VOL: 0.02442142 BTC

I hope someone can pull a rabbit out of the hat real soon for this should be awesome Super Coin. My question is, If its going to fail why would anyone buy it, even at a rock bottom price? Regardless of what happens to Super Coin, I'm holding.

Hello community,

Weeks ago I had contacted OpenBazaar, to review the code.

They had reacted that they are too busy with OpenBazaar and almost all the members are working part-time.

I contacted later them again, with an offer, which also lead to nothing!

My offer was :
5000 Super for accepting reviewing source code Supercoin.
+10000 extra after reviewing.

On the other hand, the SupercoinTeam looks like disappeared, and SupercoinDev make's some offers as find a "qualified" new dev I will release the source code. It looks like from the eye's of the SupercoinDev no one is qualified enough.

I think the best way to walk is that the original dev continues with developing. But who can convince him to continue with working on this project?

Important to know: The wallet is working great, it is staking, it is fast, and it is "anonymous"(must be confirmed).

In the Meanwhile, Supercoin is worth almost nothing. I hope that it will not die, and the Supercointeam and the SupercoinDev, take their responsibilities and continue with working on this, with the help of the community.

Sincerely,

Wiskunde

The reason for doubt among the community is because we believe that IF the technology works the way the white paper states (which I believe it does), then you have created a technology that there is a HUGE demand for in the market.  This combined with the fact that you are willing to walk away from the project spells confusion among investors.  It looks like a dev walking away from a guaranteed pay day. Whatever your reasons may be, it is your choice, so be it. We are individuals and make choices, but moving to another dev is difficult without visibility and requirements.

................

Why would anyone walk away from something for which there is such huge demand in the market? Think about it, sounds like another scam to me.

The need for a new and qualified dev is a very real reason for the current situation. I discussed this need with Supercoindev in the very early stages.

It is vital to have a good and substantial team/community to take development forward, because one or two developers cannot manage alone . It is safest for the code to remain closed until that team is assembled, because once it is open, a stronger organisation can clone it and take it forward as their own new coin.

Maybe it is the community which has failed (thus far) and not the dev ?

Remember, all cryptocurrencies are a work-in-progress.

I would say about a handful are a work in progress, most are dead in the water.

If you seriously have awesome tech (which I'm not convinced of), why don't you try approaching a bigger coin and seeing what you might be able to work out?

Enjoying the ups & downs of Cryptocurrency!
Agreed!   The Dark Net Markets could use Supercoin with Supersend as well.
