I have interested a few devs into coding a smart truck contract that would introduce vested and non-vested coin control to allow for liquidity while preserving the balance for staking and inflation control. Then we would have a very powerful financial instrument that would shed interest for years and years without dilution. An ICO platform would introduce the smart contract, say we call it SmartTruck, and you would buy into it with Truckcoin that would then be under the control of the terms of the contract which would eliminate human volatility, over hoarding and/or pump and dumps, and enhance the possibility of long term profits.

Still don't get it even after reading it. What is the mechanism that creates the guaranteed interest? Is it like a ponzi thing or what? Also from that part of the thread sounds like the blockchain for it needs some fixing?

In general, are you familiar with the difference of POW (proof of work) and POS (proof of stake) ?

Currently i'm working on wallet code updates, hope to optimize coin control a little bit.
Regarding repairwallet, it's slow on old big wallets with lots of transactions.
I'd suggest to renew wallet from time to time to keep wallet size reasonable.
Requires some time but it's worth it if wallet become too huge and slow.
Every day send freshly minted blocks to the new address(es) in the same wallet to not to loose coinage,
then eventually when all coins are on the new address just import this address or addresses to the new fresh empty wallet.

Dont get it, if people cant do the basic math on Truckcoin?!

The last weeks i often read about people want to hold at least 5 millions TRK, it's about 4.16% of the whole supply!
Actually there are 4.2 million Trk for sale on cryptopia, a lot of coins changed hands during the bittrex panic dump(Thanks to the weak hands, you can buy back for higher prices

)
... but you dont have to care anymore, bittrex is history and these cheap prices at cryptopia wont stay long!

I really appreciate, that the Truck community is finally waking up, i also try to contribute more in future.

Basically what it means is that the stake reward / interest or whatever you want to call it is what you get for leaving your wallet running which forms a network along with many other wallets that confirms and verifies transactions as well as secures the network. That is all. It's similar to miners that have specialized equipment to mine bitcoin POW (proof of work), which confims transactions as well as securing the network, The bitcoins that are rewarded to the miners are just a thank you for securing the network.

In the case of a POS (proof of stake) wallet, you don't need specialized equipment. Hope that makes sense.
