Development Update Q1 has been published. We like to keep you updated on what has been done, whats going on and what is planned.

https://trezarcoin.com/development-update-q1-2019/

Summary of Quartal 1 2019

We have successfully enabled SegWit on the Trezarcoin Blockchain, which makes it mandatory to have a Trezarcoin Client/Node running with the Version 1.2 or higher to participate on the Trezarcoin Network. – If you are still on Version 1.0 or 1.1 please update URGENTLY! If you need any assistance please join one of our Social Platforms to seek for Support.

https://github.com/TrezarCoin/TrezarCoin/releases

Wallet Update

Trezarcoin Version 1.2.1 went live with a few fixes as well as 2 new features, ExportKeys and ImportKeys, which are available on the GUI Interface of Trezarcoin.

ExportKeys

This is an easy Method to do a ColdStorage/Printable Version of all your Private/Public and Reserved Keys. Your Keys will be exported to a .txt File, which also contains the Labels of the exported Addresses.

ImportKeys

This Method gives the Option to import Private/Public and Reserved Keys all at once from an ExportKeys command.

Input of this Function is the Exported .txt File.

UseCase

Our Team is working on the Concept of our TrezarMessage UseCase, the release of the Concept is being aimed for Q2 2019.

Outlook on Q2 2019 – Whats coming up

Concept of TrezarMessage

ElectrumX Client

As many of you already know, we have ElectrumX Servers up and running, now the next step is to get an ElectrumX Client. ElectrumX Client will be a light Client for the Trezarcoin Blockchain, it will be possible to send/receive Coins without the need to synchronise the whole Blockchain.

Hardware Wallet

We aim to have Hardware Wallets available at the end of Q2 2019, they will be working on top of the ElectrumX Client, thats why we are combining these two goals on this part of the Roadmap.

Marketing

Many people are asking about the Marketing and it will finally arrive! – We will run Campaigns on Facebook, Twitter as well as Bitcointalk to spread the word about Trezarcoin. As you might know, we aren’t a multi-million dollar ICO Project, so will start slow, but steady. If you got any Ideas feel free to join our Social channels and share them with us!

Community

We want to thank our awesome Community for our recent CrowdFunding, we’ve managed to fund 1.5k$ within a week to get legal Documents for Trezarcoin which will help to get listed on exchanges.

You are awesome!

Ask me Anything!

Last but not least, ChekaZ is going to host an AMA on the 12th of April, the AMA will be live on Twitch.tv and be available later on youtube. – More details will follow, so please keep an eye on our Social Channels.

Kind regard,
ChekaZ
Informing the community about the progress is a good thing, I'm glad you did not run away on the discord and you're active here.

I received a stake with the 1.2.0 wallet! I actually wanted to buy some more TZC but it seems it isn't available on stex (and I can't remember if it was ever available on bittrex)... which exchanges have it these days?

https://wallet.crypto-bridge.org/market/BRIDGE.TZC_BRIDGE.BTC
https://graviex.net/markets/tzcbtc

And if you have still BTC/TZC on Cryptopia, you can trade there, but not deposit/withdraw for now.

Yes after the SegWit update, you need to update to Version 1.2 - Miners and Stakers should have updated a lot earlier.

Updating to 1.2.0 appears to have solved the problem, though I won't know for sure for at least a day because it seems the new wallet program has to download the entire blockchain all over again.

That doesnt disrupt your staking, your coins are still mature.

Perhaps, but my balance is now 0... The new wallet has both of the addresses I generated in the original wallet, shows the most recent transactions from before the upgrade, and required the same password to unlock it for staking, but balance is 0.

If you ever wonder why people are slow to upgrade their wallet this is a prime example why.

EDIT - I scrolled back through the post history and found a recommendation by you to run trezarcoin-qt with the switch -zapwallettxes=1 so I am trying that. ...waiting for rescanning to complete... and.... *most* of my balance is back - the most recent stakes I received when still running the old wallet have disappeared. Still, I seem to have solved the problem myself and I must say I really like the changes you made concerning staking.

It looks like my wallet which has been running continuously for over a year (old version - have downloaded 1.2.0 but not yet updated) is reporting an error "Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download , or notify developers." Since the wallet has been running continuously I presume the blockchain file is up to date, so does this mean I need to update the wallet or is something else going on?

First Development update of 2019:

Dear Trezarcoin Community,

I would like to update you on the Development progress that is going on, besides the RoadMap goals.

BTCPay for Trezarcoin
– planned for February 2019
– What’s left? – > Native Blake2s C# implementation.

Getwork for Trezarcoin Version 1.2
– We have been investigating this issue since its removal from the original BitcoinCore code; it is a high priority for us as it will restore direct solomining to the client.
– Expceted resolution in Q1 2019

UseCase TrezarMessage
– We are planning to release a detailed whitepaper, there is currently no ETA on this topic.

Community Client!
– We are happy to announce that we are planning to introduce a Community Client, we believe that this is important to fill the needs of the Community and give YOU a Voice.
– We will set up a CommunityDevelopment Branch, to separate it from the CoreDevelopment. We still want to have a “clean” Client for all services and service-provider.
– The Community Client has the Goal of getting ThirdParty Applications implemented directly into the Client ( Exchange links, BlockExplorer,…- )
– ChekaZ will monitor the PR and merge things after review, it’s important that the core code doesn’t get touched, so only the GUI or non-coreFunctions can be edited.
– We will be releaseing a detailed Plan on this topic.

Official Trezarcoin Pool
– This pool will get a new 2019 update. More details to come in the following weeks/months.
