It feels awkward to send all coins to some swap address and hope some new coins would appear in a new client. What do you think?

Old network should to work correctly al list until all old coins will be swap, correct?
I mining for couple of months just to sustain the network. If the wallets stop to syncronize it was because my miner stoped.
When wallet start function again is because I restarted  the miner and I made some transaction.
I'm sorry I did not have time to actively participate in the development of the new usde.

cd src/
mkdir obj

I just tested yobit its still working.
probably has something to do with mining stopping on the old network. I just fired up my miner its processing blocks now.

We have a MAJOR client update. The old clients are invalid and will no longer sync correctly. Please update to the new client. Staking had to be introduced early due to someone mining nothing and holding up things.
Staking will be changed back to 20 days once the network is stable and more people are on it.
Get in on staking early the reward is pretty high right now.
Moving forward now.

so the swap is 10 to 1

what will happen to the unswapped coins

I would guess 50 % will be unswapped on this ancient project that died long ago

burned or added to the pos or a ledger of how they are used for devlopment that the community can vote on and get involved with?

More than likely, unswapped coins will be used for giveaways, bounties, etc. We want them in the hands of the people, not sitting around.

YoBit cancels USDe withdrawals.

We sent them a message about the new USDe chain and how were are swapping everything. We are working with them to get the new chain/wallet running on their exchange.

Some informational updates. As posted in the thread, we now have a working wallet for the new USDE and are getting good responses for the coin swap. For those wondering, we have premined 150M USDE for the coin swap.

Please follow the link to get the new USDe Wallet here: https://github.com/owner232/usde-master/releases/tag/v1.0.0

Then, go here to fill out the submission form for the coin swap: https://goo.gl/forms/6H0qoKhap9VNVhax2

We will do the swap manually and we hope everyone will take advantage of the system to keep the community large and strong.

After the coin swap, we will have a period of mining. There will be approximately 512500 blocks to be mined with each block having a reward of 10USDe. This will be a total of 5.125M USDe.

After the first 512500 blocks are mined, the algorithm will shift to staking rewards. USDE coin utilizes a variable PoS rate that will be given periodically payout as per following list,

1st 6 months -> 60% (10% per month)
2nd 6 months -> 50% (8% per month)
3rd 6 months -> 40% (7% per month)
4th 6 months -> 30% (5% per month)
5th 6 months -> 20% (3% per month)
6th 6 months -> 10% (1.4 per month and ongoing.)

So, if you swap early and join the community, you can ear up to 120% in staking rewards the first year. If you swap today and leave your coins in the wallet, you will start staking on November 17th. That's a 20 day maturity. Overall, there will be 76.875M coins used for staking rewards. When they deplete depends on the community.

A total of 232 Million USDe will be minted between the premine, mining and staking. This is significantly lower than the last version of USDe, which had a total of 1.6 Billion USDe. We feel this is more inline with the needs of a coin to be used as a store of value and a hedge against a fragile fiat economy.

Original USDe already head 1.0.5 in clientversion.h. Why did you decremented the version?

Because this is a newer version USDE and we're starting from a new place with better tech and software. We want to make sure people do not get confused with the old and new versions.

will the usde on yobit be auto swapped yes or no?

We will for sure look into this option, But in the mean time I would advise getting your new usde coin and start on ageing the coin for staking. (20 days)

Here is the official USDE Coin swap submission form

https://goo.gl/forms/6H0qoKhap9VNVhax2

Please read everything carefully

Join the discord to get the new client. Otherwise we will be releasing this officially tomorrow

I can't imaging more stupid swap process: it requires me to submit the private keys.

We dont ask for your new usde private key.

If i didn't ask for that someone we swapped millions with would just sell it on the exchange then I would have to swap it with someone else again.
We dont have enough for 2 swaps just enough to complete 1 successful swap. I went very conservatively on the new coin Im not trying to make something that will fail.

I will add an additional option to send your old usde to a specified address instead. so you can keep your private keys.

We are sorry you feel that way, but we feel it is the best way to ensure we get legitimate swaps. As we stated, we will not be supporting the old coin and will advise Yobit that it will no longer be supported.
