I've already seen some similar ICO, why are you different?

Well, that is not a best way to do a swap that runs for a very limited time - people who missed the tight window have now lost all their old Corgis.
Some other "reborn" coins that decided to start a new chain have put all the old balances in the genesis block, so while the coin has new features and rules, it would work with all the old wallets.

The swap is over over a year and a half ago it happened. we are on a new chain now with corgicoin what is only proof of stake. the old corgicoin wallet what is proof of work is incompatable with the new chain. The old coins are not usable now. Also don't deposit or try to withdraw corgicoin from yobit they have not updated to the latest wallet hard fork what removed proof of work from corgcoin so its no longer a hybrid coin. Yobit staff have not responded to support tickets to update the wallet.

Hi everyone,

I am just getting back into crypto after a couple of years away. I found some CORG that I left on Poloniex but I think it is pre-V2. Are these still good? Can I send it to a new QT? Thanks for any help.

Hello

I bet that it will not work anymore but you can try to send just a fraction of the coin to see if it's working.

Hello everyone.
I know  that the first step is the most important and now we have a propper website for our project.
Keep and eye on the project  as more improvements will be made
For the moment the website is not hosted on a paid service as the community will want to make some rebranding of the project also changing the name of the project.

Until then take a look at it:

The site is looking good!

I am a software developer and fore some time I was in the blockchain area.
Given the fact that in the future I want to build a big service around the blockchain protocol I want to get involved first in a project that already exists.

In order to get more knowledge on how a small project can attract peoples I decided to start developing some features.

The old developers abandoned the project, but I don't know the reason for why they did it.

The purpose will be to get mainstream adoption because if we want to do something ... let's do it as best as we can.
Also the coin's main purpose will be the anonymity and privacy.

* For the moment I'm developing a website for the coin because the old one was a ugly Wordpress page.
* Create Bitcointalk, Facebook, Twitter, Steemit , Telegram/Discord/Slack accounts.
* I will start to develop a block-explorer for the coin in order for everybody to get comfortable with the coin
* The core code will need to be checked to see if there are any bugs that needs to be repaired.
* Some new wallets will be needed web/desktop/mobile ( also the wallets will have integration with TOR/I2P )
* Add feature for face-detection payment made from the unlocked wallet.
* Create a marketplace for the people to spread the project and also for their interest
* Create some mini gambling games like lottery's.
* Integrate zk-SNARKs algorithm in the core blockchain code to increase the anonymity of the users.

For sure will be many other improvements that can be made and will be discovered in time based also on the community needs.

If there are people that want's to get involved in this project it will be perfect as it will increase the mainstream adoption.

Thank you!

This is very nice! Creds to you and i hope you will continue with the good work! How are you doing with the website? Maybe i can help alittle if you need any help, maybe i can see how it looks like so far?

I am a developer so I know how to code, not in all the languages but as an engineer nothing is impossible.

Anyway the knowledge that I have can add some good features to the project.

The development of this coin has stopped ?

Nobody wants to get involved in developing this coin or reborn it ?

If you have friends that are developers or you maybe, let's get together and start make some good product from it.

I'm here to help if someone else want's to participate.
do you know how to code?

Here we go again
I'm having problems with segfaults when running corgicoind under FreeBSD (unix). It just randomly dies in the middle of the initial sync. If I restart, it fetches some more blocks, then dies again. Doesn't seem to be choking on a particular block.

I guess it's related to secure messaging? Restarting with -nosmsg seems to be working (so far)

Any ideas?
Try Windows, dl chain or delete that shit and give it up

I recommend not using yobit to trade corg since you can't withdraw or deposit corgicoin there since they wont respond to support tickets to update the wallet. they are two wallet versions behind.

@vashshawn,@YoBit - kindly help, please. What is the status with Yobit and the CORG wallets? I have sent in 2 support tickets, but no response so far, other than acknowledgments of the tickets.

What is the status, please?

Thanks!
