there is something with the wallet too;
for two days displayed a larger amount, even I had it refresh multiple times and the block number was correct;
now 2 blocks reward just dissipated in the thin air; not funny

How long thime did you had that amount in the wallet. According to our analysis everythink works perfectly.

Indeed the hash rate has exploded even without pools and it's like a lot of people are just mining for nothing.

One bug I found in the WEBD Explorer for a few days, it does not show the blocks any more, at all. It only shows my address and that's it, black empty page.

Please report this to our community member which developed the explorer. You can find his contact in footer on the explorer website

have you guys thought about revising some of the branding?  The logo in particular is very confusing.  It looks like a pentagram, and like it's associated with some illuminati, secret society type stuff.  Not sure if this is intentional.

Haha, more people told us that. Even bad publicity is still publicity  Grin

I see 13.97 Mh/s
How could it be without pools ?
Or you start the pools and forget to tell us ?)

What is this:
-wdpool.io
-amsterdam.wdpool.io
-paris.wdpool.io
-strasbourg.wdpool.io ?

14 Mh/s is represented as a spike in our global hash rate graph http://hash.wd.hostero.eu/dashboard/db/webdollar-global-hashing-power?orgId=1&from=now-1h&to=now and that means someone generated a hash more difficult than the target.

Those are fallbacks node donated by the community members untill mining pools will be ready

Yes, nowdays bots and stuff try to mine whatever is more profitable. Back in my days 4Mhs on the network used to get quite the WOW. We will look backwards in time when 1000 TH/s will be quite common and laugh at our short vision.

Already now pools are absolutely necessary if you want to mine with a normal computer, let's imagine how it'll be with 1000 TH/s. But how much electric energy consumption would a 1000 TH/s network consume?

I have noticed that Hashrate has become very irregular, ranging from 1 Mh/s  to an astonishing 4 Mh/s. Why would this happen? I cannot explain that without thinking that some big data center gets in and out the network. Needless to say that when the hashrate is 4 Mh/s is makes no sense for a single average computer to mine since that would not produce a single block in days.

In few days we will finish mining pools because we can focus now only on developing pools. The global hash rate seems irregular because sometimes the winner miner is generating a much harder comparing to target. It is something normal in cryptography when you have lots of miners.
Here you are right. you need something to do with it

Yea, that is true, people should see things on long term too.

this is why pool mining is necessary; else the regular computer or laptops will not have any chance;
