Bad wallet ever!
There's nothing wrong with the wallet itself, so it must be your setup. Try turning off your antivirus and firewall, and maybe try a proxy

All the exchanges listed almost al the same bad coins because that's all that has come out in last month pretty much Whirl has promise and DEV seems to be hanging in there so Im pretty sure will be a long term coin

Guess we wait for poloniex to get their act in gear then. As far as bittrex,with the way they seem too be operating lately, its better to not be listed there. All the talk of them adding bad coins makes me leary.

Wallet working good for me...never had an issue at all.
Dev, when is Whirlcoin getting added to a real exchange? To my knowledge, Poloniex hasnt even heard of Whirlcoin yet...they ninja'd Stellar coin in yesturday. We need this on a real exchange !!!

Poloniex contacted me ~2 weeks ago telling me they were going to add it, but I haven't heard of anything since and they haven't replied to my emails either.
For bittrex there's not a lot I can do, we need lots of people sending them tweets and talking in their IRC channel

- C-cex can be reached relatively easily, or contacted them?
- If poloniex silent, add a whirl to vote letter, we will vote - it's better than doing nothing
- Bittrex currently is cautious when it comes to the new coins, without a good bribe probably hard to be there

Network health is about as good as it gets. I'm guessing a firewall?
I had the same problems. Day by day less and less connections.
Looks like daemon is not searching for new nodes automatically.
BTW I have different problem now.
Anyone experiencing fairly large CPU usage (50-90%) by whirlcoind on linux?

maybe some firewall? Slap in the bar %appdata% folder, make copies of the whirlpool, then the target delete everything except wallet.dat. Start wallet and wait for full synchro.

I hate to be that guy but what are the future plans for whirl?
We are currently working on a TOR and stealth address function. We are also planning a system where you can use whirl as a substitute for BTC
That's more like it. If it's implemented , coin will get more interest .
