I have a mining rig with 6x Asus R9280X DC2T-3GD5 running Pimp and a PC with one of these inside as well (but watercooled) running Win 8.1.

I run x13mod on the PC with 4 gpu threads, but that setting will crash on the mining rig. Maybe Linux doesn't like it like that

On my windows pc it increases hash rate quite a bit actually, so worth giving it a go if you run a 280x.

xintensity should be better than raw especially for 290

with 280x i tried it but no difference in comparison with regular intensity

r9 280x (aka 7970) Dual-X 2500kh/s

Yeh im running the x13 kernel on an R9 280x with Win 7 - 64bit and getting intermittent crashes (GPU Crashes) have constantly restart miner :/ Any and all help appreciated. Tried all sorts of settings and keep getting GPU crashes / Resets. Could the guys compiling/developing this please have a look into this as I have noticed some others with similar issues.

Failing that, is there another x13 Windows Miner available that I can use untill the GPU Crash issues are sorted? Thanks Heaps

I just tried X11 using this miner and having same issue. I have no problem using other miners for X11 like the one from Darktalk.org but for some reason after 20 or 30 accepted shares GPU crashes. If any one knows what causing this I would love to know.

My Basic Settings are as follows, but I have tried many combinations of intensity, GPU Core speed, work size, voltage etc, but all eventually crash

I am using CGWatcher so theres a few extra settings there so the miner can be monitored, but they shouldn't interfere with miner

Could anybody share good X13 settings for Sapphire 7970 "Vapor-X", "Dual-X"
Settins I use give me ~2500 Kh per each, but cards are crashing time to time

thank you guys I've already seen that post,
but I'm a dickhead, that was my oldest rig,
so I forget that I had installed Catalyst 13.1,
Now it's working.
So definitely for others, Catalyst 13.1 is not working at all with this miner.
Once again, thank you both.

My sph sgminer always stops.


Windows makes stopped  after 2-3 hours working.

Works just fine on my 5970. Need to make sure you run with --kernel x13modold.

any working config for AMD 5870 pls?
I'm trying to make it work for 3 days, but I'm getting nothing, but HW errors,
trying with X13modold, any suggestions?

I still have the same issue :/  (i loaded the original profile, and according to sensors everything is running at the stock frequencies/voltage)

Edit: I don't think it's an issue on sgminer, but have no clue about what could be missconfigured on my PC

Can u delete the last 3 parameters en use -I 16 and use stock clocks with msi ab and check ur clocks and voltage, also delete the bin files.

Hi, i'd like a little help.

While running sgminer (the one i get here ) with x11 or x13 mod  i have no Accepted nor Rejected,  only hardware errors.

I tried many option (no option too) but always the same.

I'm running on 280x win7 64   tried catalyst 14.4 & 14.6 (but for most of people 14.4 works pretty well)

I tried to install the 2.9 SDK but still nothing i'm a bit lost i can't figure out the source of this issue
