Making a copy is easy, but keeping up with new features by the developer(s) who made RaiBlocks possible will be quite hard. I see 0 chance that project will be worth anything.
I have to agree, in the long term at least. Like all new coins the copy will probably have a little hype but will eventually run itself into the ground. If the idea has anything to offer then the original will be the one that will pull it off.We have also to consider that raiblocks is a very innovative coin. It has unique features like instant transaction with 0 fee. And The devis only one and he is not part of xcm team.

I'm a bit late in adding this but I wanted to add my support to the faucet being closed. Great decision and I'm looking forward to seeing where the coin goes next, and how long before it passes Iota!

Check out the new roadmap
Nice it's great to have a confirmation that a new exchange is coming, I wonder what exchange will that be? I really hope it will be bittrex. I really like the new roadmap, it's great that the devs are now focusing more on the wallet, that has been the major problem with this coin. I really hope the new updates will fix a lot of issues from the the last one. The next few months are so bright for raiblocks. I can't wait to see the price moon!

Mikerow and Tim wich were the developers taking care of the faucet distribution were left the project into December, once the developers anounced faucet would stop they went out into their own project. There is no colaboration between the team of xrb and the new coin, besides the conection of had worked together, no genesis, no tech will be shared, otherwise we would have a fork of xrb, and the new coin will only use the same model to distribution xrb had just that.
The new roadmap does show anybody the developers wanna and are into the improvement directions, another exchange is coming wich is amazing since Bitgrail isnt enought to make the coin to grow, in the general is because its a new exchange and people are scared to invest into them, because they are providing and amazing support to raiblocks.

Really happy that the dev finally made the decision to stop the faucet distribution that went far away from the original scope.
However since there will be another clone currency that will still use the faucet distribution I think is important that the Devs will make it clear if between the 2 projects there will be a collaboration and tech exchange, since so far they even released a common roadmap.
If that is the case then nothing changed and we will have 2 identical coins development, one obtainable for free using the faucet and another one that should be traded.
I hope a clarification will be made soon.

I believe bittrex surely take's XRB to high marketcap at least $200M in my assumption.

Soo this month it may be possible we will get listed into another exchange, lets see which one will be, because if the exchange does allow us to deposit and cashout within seconds we can make margin trade between Bitgrail and this new exchange, a lot new things coming thats amazing, keep the good work and focus, we are on the right way now!

Good to know that a new roadmap has been decided. Hope to see more good things unfold! About the exchanges listing, if they don't want you in then might as well create your own. Let them come to you!

When will be modified github XRB total supply and when will be modified total supply on coinmarketcap of XRB coin?
as I understand it on coinmarketcap Total supply will not be changed as the coins didn't disappear and they are considered in a network are blocked purse from which there is no seed But if you look at the turnover of the System there is also not enough 1,357,598 XRB or something I do not understand and do not think so then sorry ?

Its clear all are thinking xrb will be forked as its happening with bitcoin and the answer is no. Xrb main developer wont allow the faucet team to acess the genesis wallet at all, they will do their own coin, based into the same distribution model as xrb has used, the faucet. Soo far no one knows anything else besides those, xrb developers said they had some good news for November, with this month a new layout, updated stats as the total supply should get live, just give the developers some time since this isnt their full work.
Thanks for clearing this up, I've been confused about the fork ever since the news about xcm started. That's great! It's nice to know that some good news is coming next month. I can't wait to see the new layout and the updated stats. I've been on slack and I can tell that the devs are more focus and more driven now to get this project to the top.
