I've sent xrb from bitgrail to my 7.8.3 wallet , I have not received coins, block explorer says not pocketed? Does anyone else have this problem?
7.8.4 is current stable version. I guess wallet is not synchronized yet.

Do you know if my address will change if I upgrade to the new  wallet? Old one is syncing but very slow

Check the github, looks like Colin is working like a madman today, I don't think the fixes will be too far out

Any chance of getting it on a larger exchange?  I'm on 8 exchanges already, none of them have this coin.

Sometimes you have to put in some extra effort to get the "diamonds". I recommend bitgrail.com. Done lot of transactions there.

I've received some blaims on private messaging about BitGrail, the reason seems to be long wait for deposit in xrb.
We already know Colin is working to fix sync problems, which is causing some lags in the network.
Once fixed, deposits will be faster.

Personal note:

If you want to criticize, do it constructively. Offending will not help solving problems, but often worsens them.
I personally thanks all exchanges (Mercatox, BitGrail, Tradebot) listed us as quick as possible and their effort to do that.

The Dev is working on it. Keep Calm relax and forget your coins for some weeks Smiley

Just a quick note - hopefully will help people:

Invalid Block - Sender's wallet isn't synced (or you typed in the block wrong)
Not Pocketed - Receiver's wallet isn't synced

If you have a transaction that you can see on the raiblockscommunity.net website and it says 'Invalid Block' then the sender hasn't yet broadcast the block to the network - this suggests that their wallet hasn't fully synced, most likely it hasn't caught up. In this situation the solution is to wait especially if its a large web service like an exchange as they'll have hundreds of transactions to process.

If the transaction is visible but says not pocketed then it has been broadcast and now its sitting in the network waiting for your wallet to be in sync - in this situation first thing is to check whether your wallet is synced:
1) if its a web/telegram wallet then just a wait a few minutes as the admins ensure that the nodes are already synced
2) if you are using the desktop wallet:
   a) Make sure you wallet is unlocked - it won't process any transactions unless its unlocked!
   b) Check the block count the number outside the brackets and compare it to the block on raiblockscommunity.net
   c) If they are close then just wait for it to catch up
   d) If there is a big difference e.g. your block is 63 then you could try and boot strap the sync: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.19562825

RaiBlocks works in a different way to Bitcoin/clones, they work by you making a transaction and waiting for it to be mined into the blockchain, the delay is waiting for the block to be mined and then all the network confirmations - in this situation you just have to wait for your transaction. In the case of RaiBlocks the sender and then receiver have to be in sync with the network for the transaction to go through - as long as your wallet isn't synced the transaction won't go through.

Thanks for the clear explanation!
Did the withdraw on saturday, so the exchange has a lot of syncing to do I guess..
Or something is wrong with their link to show the status.

Will wait for them to respond to the support ticket..

Got a response from the bitgrail support:

Dear User,
thank you for contacting us.

Invalid block is a rai_node bug. We send this issue t Colin (RaiBlocks DEV), for for that. Hope he fix it asap

Thank you for using BitGrail.

Kindest Regards,

If really want to be like byteball the developer should think of distribute free tokens to Rai holders, this strategy worked pretty well with byteball in order to make the price spike.

It's already being distributed free, all you have to do is fill some captchas.  Every other crypto you have actually invest your own money into with either fiat or mining hardware.

Finally the pump had ended and we're returning to lower price.

I think it's not the right time to list on big exchange and sell Rai. Good time will be when distribution will be over. Accumulate and hold for now, have patience and trust!

ended  Cheesy we just getting started, a one of a kind instant, free transaction, tangle chain, NASDAQ listed dev (qualcomm)  100m marketcap+

this is just the first steps, did you see the 5 / 10 /20 btc buy walls get chomped ~@6k sats, that's accumulation.

This is the only dip.

if you want something too compare raiblocks to, compare it to byteball charts, both fairly new - both new design features (not bitcoin clone - independent code from scratch)
