I'm trying to send some coins from the wallet. Once I click 'Send' button after entering destination address and amount, the Send button is disabled. It seems the send has not happened. I still see the balance in my wallet. What's the issue?

If his wallet says sent he should be able to tell you the account number and head block from Advanced -> Ledger.

I'm working on exposing these things in the GUI but you can query blocks from the command line, for instance querying your 3kitkou account gives:

Which says your account has 51mrai which matches what the ledger says.

In all fairness, it's possible the tx didn't process on his end. I highly recommend wait for RAI first, THEN send BTC. But I even more highly recommend to be patient and wait for exchange to be live.

This idea has several good aspects, it's a new market rather than just a me-too replacement for other systems and it deals in small units which tradition payment processors can't hit.

It would be nice if the transaction needed to complete fast which would make it stand out strongly compared to Bitcoin.

It's a good idea and bringing up and implementing ideas like this is probably the most beneficial thing people can do if they like RaiBlocks.
