Call for StealthText Testers!

With the pipeline complete & new wallet update rolled out, we are now in the final stages of the StealthText release. This means we need your help.

Before putting Stealthtext into the wild, we want to test it on a variety of Android handsets. We are opening a call for volunteers who will get an exclusive sneak peek of the app in the final stages of development.

If you are interested in being in this special group of testers, please reply to this post with what Android device(s) you have. We will publicly pick these testers and ask them to report back findings as a “Proof of Concept”. Within a few days of completion of this test, we shall release the application on Google Pay for the general public.


To apply, you must have:


1. Available Android device we have not tested (we have already tested on: LG Note 3, Samsung S3, & Samsung S5 )
2. Newest StealthCoin QT installed and synced
4. You must be available 08/27/14  @ 9 pm PST for at least 2 hours
5. You must be willing to report back to the community, provide us feedback, and answer questions about your experience
6. Most importantly, you must have patience and a good attitude.

StealthText has been proven by the development team. As you will find out in more detail, StealthText is a system for encrypted SMS transactions. Transactions are coded in your phone by AES/CGM encryption and traverse fully encrypted until they get to your wallet and are decrypted therein. In transit, the transactions are cryptographically tamper-proof and reveal no information about the transaction.

The proof of concept has been made on Android using the Java programming language. The application is thus designed such that anyone with a java-enabled phone and the ability to create SMS messages will be able to send cryptographically secure transactions.

On the wallet side, the transactions are resistant to replay and various other attacks.

Although a pipeline can be created in any number of ways, our proof of concept forwards the SMS message to an email account, then the email is forwarded to a message processor (a person in the proof, but soon to be an automated utility). The message processor then forwards the encrypted transaction to the wallet, which decodes it and broadcasts it securely to the Tor network.

The first StealthText transaction had a TXID of 79284b5e351343967b4657b69b820f9489165e45e12e0ac1d59bf68e1a135aff.

Tried to compile the source for ARM (raspberry pi) and got this: 'fatal error: xmmintrin.h: No such file or directory'. Any ideas pls?

I don't sweat it, guick dirty..... i don't ask that, i say this is time to make great news. I am in Xst for a long time and i believe the dev so i ask some thing nothing more it's my money what i invest in xst not your money.......

We all now the dev is great and also the community, a lot of people follow this coin. Now is the time to get great news. Then we can make this coin stable on 2k.... I hope the dev can give great news in 24 ours....

Pump was organised was on Sunday, and price still above 2k satoshi,
for me I am very happy to see, we are able to hold 2k and it will boost in future.

Bots have been buying for the last couple of days. I knew the dump was coming but I figured it would be later on. The ol' buy right before something happens and then dump trick.  Or it's just someone taking a quick profit.

Thanks much appreciated - with that work ethic and dedication to stealthcoin I doubt you'll need a day job this time next year.

I'm working on completing the StealthText pipeline tonight, and it's going to turn to the 26th in California, USA in about an hour. I don't think I'll be done with the wallet additions by then, but I'm about 95% sure I'll be done by tomorrow night.

I've linked the pipeline from the mobile app to the wallet about 90% as well and just need to figure out how to correctly invoke the simple message processor that directs the message to the wallet, where the transaction will be broadcast to the Tor network.

So, instead of releasing the android app tonight (which is done and tested but not on google play yet) and the wallet changes (which I'm still working on) and then releasing the message processor in a few days, I believe that tomorrow at this time, we'll be able to release the full pipeline. That includes an android app, an intermediate message processor, and the StealthText-enabled wallet. I'll also be able to give the procedure for proof of concept, which should involve no manual steps from an end-user except for interacting with the android app. These instructions will allow users to verify the proof of concept for themselves. Then, a couple of days after that, I'll have the whitepaper, which will formally describe the cryptography and pipeline.

I'm writing this announcement because it is going to get late soon and I want to give myself an out for the evening (a couple of hours from now) so I can get some sleep if the proof of concept isn't complete. Otherwise I will work through the night to finish. Basically, I do not want to be dead tomorrow for my day job and I need to commit to getting enough sleep.
