Is there any site that lists the number of secure nodes online? The calculator is worthless without it.

https://securenodes.na.zensystem.io/

Thanks, debating on if it's worth the trouble. 3.5% was crap and they lowered it to 3%. Nodes should always be incentivized, Satoshi's 2nd biggest mistake. It should be more around 20%.

Brief update for you all on secure node tracking and payments.

Quote
We've completed just about all the server moves and upgrades - @cronic  did a lot of work on that during the last week.

The first payment run we did about a week ago generated an error and a spurious payment. For these first ones we are going through them carefully to make sure things are going properly. As we get them working well we can speed up and automate the process more.

I have been testing the upgraded payment process using the updated software with @devman on testnet for the last two days.

It looks to me, in my testing with payments on testnet, that we have the right process and enough checks to make sure everything goes well on the mainnet payments. I believe during the server upgrades the secure node tracking status has been maintained for all connected secure nodes, meaning when we do start payments they should go out to everyone that has been running nodes that meet requirements since we first started tracking them.

We both have families so there has also been timeout for the holidays. We are, however, planning on continuing to work over the next few days and as long as at takes to get this working properly.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work through the process, and thank you for operating ZenCash Secure Nodes!
@blockops

so are they going to pay use the days our nodes were up and running since the 19th ?
They are very quiet about that part...

How often should payments come? I only see 3 payments since 16th of December.
From Discord, it was same question Wink

payment frequency will initially be weekly since we still have to manually go in and adjudicate batch payments; we'll be looking to do more automation in time, but for now it's prudent to have a human-in-the-loop to make sure things are working right.
amount = 3.5% of block rewards. Initially this will be higher since we have accumulated node rewards sitting in escrow that need to be distributed..

Quick question. Is the Zenpaperwallet.com website legit? If so, why does it not allow me to generate an address whilst not connected to the internet? I checked out the source but unlike bitaddress there's no working html copy to use it offline.

It doesn't work if I disconnect internet.
It's normal for websites in the internet to only work whilst connected to the internet.
You can generate addresses online and keep and use them offline.

You obviously haven't used Bitaddress. If the app is truly client-side there is no reason it should require an active connection once you have loaded the website.

I bought 2 zencash at price $41 I think the real value is much higher because the total supply is 21 mil and the price is low.Litecoin supply  is more higher and the price is ~$270.Hold your coin and sell when the price will rise.

As for me, litecoin is used as alternate option when something happens to bitcoin.
