Not really a clone, they will be using a different algo, equihash, just like Zcash.
So Bitcoin Gold will be even more decentralised, as in the common people will be able to mine with their GPU's again, so it won't be controlled by the mining farms (asics) like with Bitcoin Core.

Successful like BCC?? Really?? It is just another attempt to make a lot of profit by using the "bitcoin'' added to its name to attract more fools to invest.

I don't think if Bitcoin gold will succesfully and i do not even know if BCC is succesfully too. Mostly people are only interested with Bitcoin. So both coin just clone of BTC.

I'm pretty sure that the recent Bitcoin price increases are not related to Bitcoin Gold. BTG is, in my opinion, too insignificant.

The reasons I guess that are more relevant for the price increase:
- hopes that the November Segwit2x fork won't occur, or that it will be "weaker" and less dangerous than some feared (including me)
- some buys for "free coins", but related more to S2x than to BTG,
- and finally, the market wants to re-test the $5000 high, as it's already very close.

It's really sad to see, that how All Altcoin connected to Bitcoin, every-time bitcoin goes up, almost all alt coin goes down. But because of this mess, lots of day trader making tons of money, they are happy about it.

Please explain me, if I keep my BTC on exchanges like BTC, HitBTC and Livecoin will I receive BTC Gold? Or it's better to collect all BTC from exchanges to desktop wallet?

I think its because of this upcoming fork that bitcoin's price is on the rise while every other altcoins ( except ripple) are falling. I hope that bittrex will support this new hard fork , so far they haven't said anything.
Btw there are many people online saying that Bitcoin Gold is a scam , what do you guys think?

Whereas BCH actually had supporters. I've not seen a whisper of interest from anyone wanting to hold BCG.

So, while I was hopeful like everyone else that I'd wring some profit from BCG, I've literally struck it from my list of things to pay attention to in the weeks ahead. Maybe they will actually find some 2-bit exchange to host it (I notice nobody seems to have paid attention to that little detail), but if no one is dumb enough to buy who are you planning to sell to ahead of the scammers dumping it on the first poor soul they can trick into placing a buy order?

As I know the upcoming hard fork will make Bitcoin become more difficult to mine and holder will receive amount of Bitcoin Gold equivalant to the amount of Bitcoin they have it's the same with the hard fork on 1st August when holder received Bitcoin Cash as much as the amount of Bitcoin. Beside I think maybe after the hard fork in this month Bitcoin price will be double soon cause the hard fork will make Bitcoin more difficult to mine Cheesy

I think this is being done to mantain some mining capability of bitcoin. Moreover I think its quite different from any other altcoin. Not only because it has bitcoin with its name but because it can be mined is same way as bitcoin. Moreover I have heard that everyone will get btc gold equivalent to the amount of btc they are holding.
