What pool are you using? I don't see how it's possible for lower hashrate to produce more coins. https://btccpool.info/btm/bm1q4lq9gycl44rpd0654dmdqdusg5fapj6rn59fxv
Been on this pool the past week and am using latest firmware.

That's not low for one B3 it's all the piece of crap can make in a day.

Well those figures are 1/2 of the BTM I am mining using a B3 - no overclocking - stock.

UPDATE:
MY ERROR: I was looking at my payout amounts.

My daily average BTM over the last 17 days was 4.30 BTM.

I apologize for the error - I was looking at my payouts which come in at all different times and not exactly ever day at same time.

4.88792226
1.94547278
3.38009431
3.26039934

Earning are up a bit lately, I wonder why?

Bitmain stopped mining with their B3s. It's not profitable anymore.

Yes, I'm a batch 1 B3 owner. Had the same email this morning and I can confirm I have now received the partial refund to the BCH address I gave them.

You could try entering the BCH address you gave them here to see if the transaction is recorded on the blockchain.

i'm fallowing this thread but not b3 owner...can you elaborate more..
so..batch 1 owner paid 2.6k usd (right)? and get about 530 usd partial refund

Not sure what everyone else paid for their batch #1 B3 but I paid 1875 USD, minus a 350 USD coupon I received for an earlier purchase, so 1525 USD (plus shipping).

I received the promised partial refund of 0.61228814 BCH (~545 USD at today's exchange rate) a couple of days ago, meaning I paid a little under $1000 USD for the B3. The refund is actually greater than it seems when you consider the BCH price drop. I only paid about 1.3 BCH for the B3 so in fact they refunded almost half of the cost.

My B3 has been working almost continuously since the day it arrived about 1 month ago and has currently made about 600 BTM (roughly 300 USD, or about 0.33 BCH).

But I got a  reply from Bitmain

Dear M.....,

Good day to you.

Thank you for writing in.

Please be advice that in order ID 0012018050401XXX, there are no refund in the batch of your purchase.

Refund only applied to fully paid B3 order at USD 2453.

I hope this clarifies your query.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any enquires.
Thank you & Have a great day!

Best regards,
Meijun

Just pointed my 7 GPU 1080ti rig at uupool mining Bytom. 7983 H/s @ 1276w

In case anyone else wants to try I am using SMOS with BMiner 9.0
Connection String:   -uri tensority://[email protected]:9221

Aswell here - 6x 1060 = 3670H/S @ ~760W

So, Im going to disconnect my B3s mornings cos it lost sense...

Hurayyy - maybe Bitmain flood us again with worthless coupons...

If Bitmain were able to release new firmware (that greatly increased hashrate) it would just push difficulty up.

Those who updated first would have higher earnings for a short while until everyone else updated, after which their earnings would likely return to levels similar to what they are now. Assuming more hashing power means greater electrical power consumption, we could actually be worse off than we are now in terms of profitability.

I think the only way that the B3's profitably is going to increase is with an increase in the price of BTM. For that to happen demand must exceed supply -- More people need to want to buy BTM or miners need to stop selling it.

Yes, but unless bitmain included more powerful chips and decreased performance on purpose to slowly increase afterwards with firmware upgrades, I dont think we will get crazy high hashrstes.
Considering chip temperatures, maybe a slight increase is still possible. But I would not bet on that.

I think he does included more powerful chips and decreased performance on purpose to slowly increase afterwards with firmware upgrades.  Will see i hope those chips can do much more then what they doing now.

Maybe. Like Baikal most likely included all algos in their BK X and unlock them after some time...

Hi Bitmain,

More GPUs are getting in. We need stronger firmware to increase the hashrate.

I  suggest to start uploading a lot of emails to bitmain about New firmware. If we not, then all of us in few days can put in ours B3 straight to the bin.

Got an answer from Bitmain:
Thank your for your proposal and for considering Bitmain.

We have forwarded this information to the right team.

We will contact you if we require any additional information.

Regards,

Sarah
Bitmain

If we start sending an emails to them maybe they will take some action to realise new firmware 😎

Got another an email from bitmain:
Thanks for your consultation

We will consider your request about the new firmware of B3. If we make decision we will contact customers.

Best Regards,
Yucheng
Bitmain

Well, if we will keep sending email maybe soon we will have new firmware 😎
