Ok so we say 490w +25w for pump = 515w @ 800gh

Best i can get with same firmware & cgminer is :

550w = 0.6875 p/gh (With pump so -25w) = 525w....

Its only 10w shy pretty good if u ask me...

Looks like i'll need to ill need to do another spec sheet with the october firmware...

On a side note, I sold my C1 today... So i'll be movin on off this thread, It was fun playing with u all!

the 980w is only the 2 miners on a lepa 1600w psu, no pump

the miners are on boiler with a central heating unit pump...

So freq 200 & volt 0675 = 490w

with cgminer 4.6.1?

Does that include the watts it takes to run the pump & radiator fans? I know its only about 25w but...

That would make it 515w right??

I'm only asking cause the best i was able to get was 800gh @ 590w using cgminer 4.7 on Nov 25 2014 firmware

& the only differences i can see so far are the october firmware & cgminer 4.6.1...

If that's all it is then ill try to replicate..

What firmware are u using?? What Cgminer? What Freq? & What volt?

I see u used a kill o watt or similar, Was that 2 x C1's running at 960w?? So 480w per unit??

I just ran a comparison test using the lowest volt setting that seems to work without any x's on the board, Below are my findings..

(Sorry about the caps, I wasn't watching what i was doing when i made the spec sheet up - Too lazy to fix?? - Too trivial to bother??)

Hey Bitmain, Its amazing what u can do when u spend 5 mins of ur time to create these results...

Brought down from 0.8 p/gh to 0.68 p/gh - A small but great gain for miners still using old gear..

Nicehash firmware with cgminer 4.9

BEST SETTING = FREQ : 150 X  VOLT : 0670 = 410W @ 605GH = 0.677 PER GH

Marginal increase in efficiency = 0.003 not enough 4 most to worry bout but if ur scraping 4 spare watts since the release of the S7 like i am..

Sold last of my cooling gear.   All previous things that were for sale have sold.

pump is like 25watt or less, not worth the effort to think of its consumption

so each is pulling 400w at 800ghz.


How much is the pump then taking ? . i think you should count that in as it is some main hardware of the machine.

there is always number 2 before c1....
there is miners status not miner status  followed by 2 copy&paste of the begging of the miner status from 2 miners

Hmm yeah can be that too

I think hes saying "so 2*c1 at 1kw and 1.6th"   So underclocking two an getting 1.6k for 1k watts between the two.

I could have read it wrong, but i think that is what hes saying.

980w for 800ghs?.

i was doing 1.1ths at 0660 at 252.1 and it was pulling 960w from the wall.

2 c1 at 200 with 0675

If you need a backup pump here are 2 and a extra resevoir.

Use 2 S3 controllers.Or make adapter.You can drive all 4 C1 boards with adapter like this:


Here is one cp2102 and hashboard connected but you can add 3 more.Then use cgminer. Ofcourse cooling has no control in this solution,but hey,this costs under 10$.You can't have all.

No one has made a mod that I know of to use RPI or other options.  Just not enough requests really.

Only option is to find a C1 that is being sold as parts, or parted out where you can buy a controller from third party.  Or use one of the ideas below;

no luck looking these controller, can i use rpi or other option?

You can talk to bitmain.  But last I heard they were out and not getting more controllers.

You most likely would have to buy from secondary market.  See if someone will sell just the controller or sell half working machines as parts.  I know I sold a half working machine as parts machine and it brought decent money as you cannot get the parts direct.
