i got lucky

i found a rm 1kw @frys they price match newegg for me Cheesy

on top of that i purchased 2 1200w rm a couple weeks ago for 199... I found them on newegg for 139 right before i left. How cool cause i save 42$ on each 1200w which came to 84$ price match savings to cover 2/3 the cost of my 1000w for the c-1 Cheesy

So now all i wait for is the c-1 with the fix cooling system.

Where did you find it for that?  I cant find 139 that is a great deal

it really is a great deal. us psu's are much safer and if there is fire its THERE fault. Which is key because they have to autoshutdown if any problems. They just dropped the price too i think. Take care

dang thats crazy. i ordered 3 days ahead of you (17th) and only my label has been created.

wait when you said ready for pickup you mean as in has been delivered or ups is about to pick it up and ship it?

what country are you rec. in?

@ dogie. would a 1600w psu cover a c-1 and two s3's or is it just cutting it too close?
Thanks

Should be fine, C1s are more around 800W rather than 1000W. How many PCI-Es does it have, and on how many cable strands?

hey i was looking at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159158 16x pcis... should only need 8 to run 1x c1 and 2x s3's

this will essentially be the max load setup on a common 15w circut that you would be able to setup easily.

I just want to verify with you dogie.

c-1 = 800 watts

s3 = 340 watts x2 = 680 watts

800w + 680w = 1480 watts..

so only a mere 120watts leftover will cover and surges etc etc?

what about a 1500watt psu? or is that cutting it way to close?

also 1600w/120v = 13.3amps. will this be fine on a 15w standard breaker?

but also additional each s3 runs @340watts so x2 = 680 + 800 w for c1 = 1480w my psu will be drawing divide by 120v thats 12.3 amps... is this correct? Or does a 1600w psu always draw max amps even if it has nothing hooked up? Or is what you connect directly proportion to the draw on the circut? Thanks

Check your wires on that breaker,if their 14 AWG,12 amps is the most I'd run thru them, check the wires for heat at the breaker & inside the outlet (my wires run thru my attic,so it's easy to check almost the whole run)....if 12 AWG you'll be fine @ 13.3 amps.

The breaker on the other hand may still trip if it's old & worn at all.If you have 12 AWG,you could replace the 15 amp breaker with a 20 amp,BUT keep the draw @ 13.3 or so,don't add anything cause you upped the breaker.

i beilieve either dogie or bitmain or both had said that the harness is no longer an issue and to basically not be scared about just plugging it in. When i asked what to look for to make sure it was okay i was told not to worry.

so my delivery day is wed and im stoked.

I ordered last night at 4 pm Mountain time and have my UPS tracking number this morning.  Crazy fast.
That's fast!  I was happy that the C1 batch 2 w/cooling kit I ordered late on the 21st was shipped.  If Bitmain ships in 'order' order, they must have busted some serious butt getting these things out...    Shocked

Yeah I ordered the full cooling kit too.  But there seem to have been complaints about some parts being shoddy.

The kits were only like $50. So they are pretty cheap components.

Syscooling asked me to take more pictures at different angles of the pump that failed.  I have sent them four and am posting the most relevant one (in my opinion) for the forum. To be clear the leak is more like it is "weeping" between the plates that make up the body of the pump.

Update:  Syscooling sent an email asking if the pump was running or not.  I explained that it does run for approximately 2 minutes and then stops.  I believe the cause is the leak creating a short.  It will only run again after it has been turned off for a number of hours and it will only run for a few minutes at a time.

shit i already ordered it

edit

thankfully i was able to cancel before they billed my card (at least it appears so :/ ) looks like ill be going with sticking with the raid max series.

rm1k for this c1 and rm1200 for 3 s3's

or will the rm 850 be enough for the c1? with only having 50 more watts?

850 is cutting it to close with cooling gear.  I would go with the rm 1000 instead of the rm 850.

@ChineseSavior

you need a supply that can deliver 70 A on 12 V, so that psu is good.

...

I received 2 tracking numbers from bitmain, I guess the second number and package is the cooling solution?

Only EVGA Supernova G2 1600W will be able to do it.

Do not buy it. You  need single rail PSU.

Just checked ups and tracked by reference number, my order is ready for pick up Smiley ordered on the 20th.

you mean tracking number? if not how do you track by ref number? did you order the kit w cooling or b3 w/o cooling?

Copy and paste your order number in track by reference at www.ups.com, ordered with cooling kit.
